one of the gears had slipped in my differential and needed to be replaced, Paul being very customer oriented replaced it under warranty even though it was not. This is the place to go fast and honest service.

Came to this location unexpectedly after my downpipe decided to snap in half due to rust on my winter vehicle and potholes in the local roads. Paul was extremely courteous and prompt with my emergency. I live about an hour and a half away and he did not hesitate to get my vehicle inside to get checked by his guys. Parts were ordered and during the wait he provided me with a loaner to grab some lunch and work from a local coffee shop. Vehicle was fixed right after parts came in and price was more than fair considering the annoyance to deal with rotted bolts / gaskets. Definitely recommended to those local and also far away. Hi, my husband took out Pick up truck there and it needed a starter. He previously had a transmission put in the same truck there a few months prior to this without any problem. After spending 2500.00 on the installation of his transmission ( that he had perchased beforehand )and all went well he thought he had developed a repore with them there and was happy to be a returning customer !! He then bought the starter for the truck and called them about when they could install that for him!! They told him no problem and to bring it right over!! So he had it towed over and left it there assuming it would be done soon!!! ! I think because it wasn’t a big money making job this time it wasn’t a big priority!! It was left sitting there almost 3 whole weeks in their parking lot!! When they finally got to installing the starter my husband noticed that the tail gate to our truck had been hit and had huge dent in it !!!!It was literally crunched right in and nobody said a thing about it!! He had been nervous about it being there outside for so long but Paul stated that his parking lot and shop were fully insured and had video surveillance as well so not to WORRY!!!! This turned out to be the furthest from the truth!! My husband spoke to Paul and they both could see where the tailgate had made contact with a tree there!! The tree was marked up along with white paint from the truck being left behind on the tree as well!! At first he agreed that the damage had most certainly happened with that tree and never disputed that that was what happened. But then he shifted the blame to the tow truck driver who dropped it off. This was impossible because my husband was right there and would definately have heard and saw the crash!!! My husband is no fool when it comes to his vehicles and had been up to check on it many times and there was no damage!! Paul refused to show my husband any surveillance tapes from that time period and just tried to wash his hands from the whole ordeal!! The sad thing is that the truck did not have a mark on it and the tailgate was like brand new until being left in their care to be worked on!! If they did not have time to install the starter then why did they agree for it to be towed there 3 weeks before hand ??? It would have been safe at home on our property!! They basically refused to acknowledge or take any responsibility for what they knew was an accident that happened on their property while it sat waiting to be fixed!! This is outrageous in my view!! We had no complaints about the installation of the starter or any other work we had done there but just believe because it was not a big expensive fix they took more valuable jobs on first and let it sit there for all that time because of wanting to take on more lucrative fixes first!!! Not showing video or getting to bottom of what happened to tailgate or coming up with a solution of some kind has shown us that they are not trustworthy and money driven!! They would rather loose a valued customer then take responsibility!! We have had other cars fixed there as well and sent family members and friends there to get work done as well!! But after this we will not go back and not recommend them to anyone we know!!! The greediness overpowers all else it seems and it’s just unfortunate and when you loose trust then nothing else matters anymore!!!

Paul took my car in for what I thought was a muffler fix. There was a lot needed doing I was unaware of. He and his team fixed everything at a really reasonable price. New tires.Brakes. catalytic converter. The list goes on. He was honest and fair . Service was great. Covid friendly. Will be back hopefully with not so much work to do!! Thanks Paul and team.

I can not thank Paul and his guys enough. I have used Alliston Transmission for over 15 years and am never disappointed. The service is always super friendly, professional, and honest. Had them do a bunch of work on my 3/4 ton. Paid them to change the brakes but all they did was swap the rotors and pads, didn’t grease a single thing. This led to brakes sticking and overheating. The service manager was helpful in trying to fix it (was going to give me a deal next time I came in) but I will not bring my vehicle back to them. Overpriced and low quality work. I use my truck everyday and need it for work, it’s been a headache to try to find time to get their work fixed. Based on their hourly rate this should have not happened

Have been here many times, always very professional and they get the job done. They don't do anything your car doesn't need, they will even do jobs other places don't want to touch that's how good they are! Great team! Paul's the most honest mechanic I have ever met.
