She is an excellent professor of the French language and highly knowledgeable about French culture and literature. She cares about student progress and gives her best to ensure that her students improve in their courses. I highly recommend a course with her, and I would love to take another course with her soon.

A	Alex Ross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The course curriculum lists many communicative goals, but in the end the teacher just gave us textbook exercises to do during each 2 hour class. There were no clear course objectives or personalized feedback provided. Since all of the activities came from the textbook, very few activities were personalized or left room for the students to integrate their own experiences / goals into the course. Overall I was disappointed and did not feel that the quality of the course had good value for what I paid (I took an online general adult course).

Tara sets the class just right, so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. So many other classes you just read from a text book but in her class she asks questions and gets the students to respond which is both fun and promotes faster learning.

I have a great experience learning French during my private classes, where the curriculum is adapted to yield the max. benefit to the student. The instructors are great and the materials used are great too. A language is not something you can learn overnight. You can take it to any level you wish given time and patience.
