★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park, view of the water and shade. Near the boat launch. Great parking and washrooms near by at the Southshore. Watched the sailboat race, which was entertaining on a hot summer day. Just needs to chase the mean geese away more

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Barrie. Absolute pleasure hiking across this park. Plenty of jaw dropping sights among the lakeshore and enough greenery and space to make the park feel secluded from the City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist information is here. When we go there, it was closed. But, 7 days a week it is open. And a bicycle pump I found. It is helpfulfor biking people.
Parking lot fee is $3 a hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended for Kempenfest and had a great time! We parked at one of the outer lots and took the shuttle and were very glad we did as the parking close by was crazy!
The only issue we had was the food offerings were extremely limited for us as we are vegetarians but otherwise it was a lot of fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a bike ride or a walk. A small little area with picnic tables and a small area with ducks an arm reach away. In the heat of summer there are concerts and fairs almost every weekend along the barrie waterfront

Waterfront maintained very well.
Metered parking.
Peaceful waterfront walking trails to enjoy alone or with your loved ones.
Highy recommended this part of the lakefront lot less crowded compared to main downtown core.
Highly recommended to enjoy your visit.
