G	Gavin O'Kane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had never stayed in a Motel before and my expectations were to be honest quite low, but this turned out to be one of the best kept secrets in Algonquin! Really appreciated the location, price, the firepit and the BBQ area. It was very clean, great facilities, and great staff. Shane who was on-site was able to accommodate whatever we needed. 5* would stay again!
M	Melissa Lafreniere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived late!!! Owner said the key would be taped to the office door but failed to tell us the office was 3 minutes down the road from the actual motel. We spent an extra 45 minutes looking. We called repeatedly and got NO ANSWER!!! When we FINALLY did get into our room to see that the shower is in the middle of the room. No privacy what so ever. They advertise fire pits etc. I didn't see anything of the sort. It was a clean modern cozy room. Unfortunately I would not stay there again though

First off the people that work here treat you as a friend more than a guest, which is very refreshing. Room was just the right space with lots of thoughtful touches and was perfect for a place to sleep after a long hike. Washroom was loaded with shampoos, conditioner and towels. Fire pit in the back was a great bonus! It was a 10min drive from Algonquin park, the town its self is very small and relaxing. Liked it so much I’m booking multiple rooms next time with a bigger group!
L	Lubna Irtijal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is good enough to stay. We stayed in a room with two queen beds (as in the disruption) though these beds were smaller than queen size. Me and my husband sleeps on separate beds as it was too small for both of us to sleep together on one bed. This room has everything one can need like fridge, microwave A.C, fan etc. One thing to mentioned specifically there was coffee machine but no coffee, there was only sugar and whitener pouch but no coffee nor any tea bags. Pls always take food and drinks and snacks with you if you are staying here because there is no proper place to buy food or drink, but there is two very small scale restaurants and one small convince store if you need anything in emergency. This place is in wilderness, you will enjoy your stay if you are going there to relax and chill.

S	Sandra Marsh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I stayed in room 5 for 3 nights. It is small but very cozy. Honestly, we went to Algonquin to be outside and enjoy nature, not sit in a motel room. The descriptions of the room is forthcoming. The other reviews that complain about the size of the room or bathtub, didn't read the room description. Check in and check out was a breeze. We did groceries on our way up but there are little resurants down the street. We spent our days doing different hiking trails and driving around admiring the beauty of Algonquin. We saw 5 Moose, 5 beavers and too many turkeys to counts. It was beautiful and we all wished we could've stayed longer. Thank you.
