★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the Saturday of Labour Day weekend, we found ourselves stranded at Mew Lake campground in Algonquin Park. Our Volvo V60 wagon wouldn't start and it was not a battery problem. We assumed it was the starter. We called CAA and Tim from Perry's Pit Stop showed up very promptly after our call. While we had been waiting, we had checked local options for repair and there was nothing. Since CAA had warned us that towing services could not take passengers, our options were not great to get home to Ottawa, even though we could have had the car towed there. Luckily, Tim was able (not sure how) to bypass the starter and get us started. We don't think that all mechanics responding to our call would have been able to do this. We were able to drive the car home without stopping, unload our camping stuff into our second car, drive the Volvo to our mechanic and continue on our planned trip. A thousand thanks to Perry's Pit Stop - saved our skins and probably at least $800 (taxi to Huntsville, bus to Ottawa for two and cost of mileage in excess of the 200kms we get with CAA). Thanks again to Perry's Pit Stop!!!!

We got stuck after a hike with what turned out to be a faulty alternator, and Perry's towing service made it as easy as possible to get back to our campsite and then onward to get the car fixed. It was such a relief to know we were in good hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wheel bearing problem on a boat trailer. Perrys tow came to Algonquin Park and towed boat and trailer to their business. Part required had to be ordered from USA.. When part arrived I took it to Perrys and they repaired the trailer.. Very friendly, professional, efficient service station. Rates are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend them if service is required

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to fuel my car, this is the only gas station in the Algonquin Provincial Park. The gas station owner was so nice, she closes the place and we call because we need gas and we had no idea about the timings of the park. She came and open the gas station for us. Very fast and efficient service. 5 Stars for them. Thank you so much guys for helping us.

Had a rad hose split an hour into my 5 hour drive and, though the mechanic was working on another vehicle, he checked it out, fixed it fast, topped up the antifreeze & I was on my way.
