I was very disappointed in how this businees handled a purchase. The terms on the invoice state "All Sales Final" returns subject to pre approval of management with a restock and testing fee of 30%. Also on Items left for repair over 30 days they are not responsible at all. So had I looked closer at the item I was purchasing I would not have purchased it at all. When I called back a few days after opening the package to inform them the device was damaged it became a nightmare of failed information exchange. Eventually after many attempts to seek satisfaction I was informed that the device was claimed to be working as "expected". So it took 3 months to finally recover the equipment and I will now have seek repair parts for what I thought was a new piece of test equipment. Blaming the manufacturer "MFJ" did not put the equipment right. I was willing to buy a higher quality piece but there was virtually no communication from this business to their remedial resolve. I have reason to believe that they knew it was damaged in the first place, as they did sell it at a reduced price. Trust is something you earn slowly. The real eye opener occured later when the emails, telephone calls, and visitations proved unsuccessful in getting a reply let alone any action. I can not recommend this business nor will I purchase anything from them ever again. This is sadly not how I viewed the hobby of amateur radio operators helping each other enjoy the hobby. You might pay more to purchase items elsewhere but the post sales service is something that is more important to factor in, in my opinion. This was only a $400 piece of test gear. Glad it wasn't more expensive or I would be even more determined to take further action. I bought my new antenae from a large online Canadian outlet. If/when I purchase a new transmitter it won't be from Alfa Radio. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. You lost any future business from me with lack of feedback and zero customer satisfaction post sales. But hey I'm 60 you might not have lost too much. After re-aquainting myself with other respectable ham's it became apparent I am not the only one learning what a deal really is, and where to shop for radio stuff . I have been fair in this assessment. Buyers beware. VE5RUS on the air eventually, no thanks to this place of business.

Are you into radios - electronics - ham radio ? - GPS - need an antenna - microphone ?? - repairs - replacement - new - used. The quintessential "1 stop shop" This place like a radio candy store. Friendly - knowledgeable staff. It isn't the easiest place to find - but is worth it.
