★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 years ago I gave a 5 star rating, for me, this was consistently good. Now I find that the food is very inconsistent, and it really comes down to who’s working behind the counter. I have literally changed my dinner plans after realizing who’s working behind the counter. I’ll only order from here again depending on who is working. Not sure if the owners have changed but the quality isn’t what it was before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly no longer the Alexandros you remember. Since high school my friends and I would eat here every Friday, about 6 straight years. Went back recently and was sad to see the original owners retired and sold. The new owners seemed nice but unfortunately it’s not at all the same product anymore. This would’ve been okay if they changed the name to reflect the new restaurant, but without the change it feels unfair.
If you’re looking for authentic Gyros hit up Messini across the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic. Been coming here since I was in my early 20s. You know those late night spots that never seem to satisfy you the same way when you're sober? This is not that. Authentic gyro that tastes just as good for lunch as it does after a night of partying. Can't go wrong here, or their original location on queens quay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ July.25/2021:**WANNABE** Greek food. Don't be fooled by the name. The worst I've had in Danforth. All the food here is made middle Eastern style. From the pistachio "baklava" that they have stickers baklaWa a clear indication, Greeks make with Walnuts, to the corn in the rice. Everything is made poorly. The cook tried to tell me their baklava was made in Greece? I'm sorry for all that come here with expectations. But there are many cultures trying to jump on the bandwagon and ruining the original Greek style that we have all love. I ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner.
Would NOT recommend and will NOT return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I happened upon this spot on a friend's recommendation. We were in the area and in the mood for gyros. First off the location is wonderful. A very nice little spot to simply hang out with friends and watch the day go by. The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable. Staff are friendly and polite. The food was.. A mazing!! That has been the best chicken gyro on a pita I have ever had or had since. I am actually considering going now just thinking about it. They are priced fair and open late as far as I know. I highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great experience. The staff were patient because I didn't know what I wanted to eat. They helped me make a decision, which was the chicken gyro. It was the best tasting gyro I have ever had. The chicken was done perfectly, still with a little crisp, and every bite was flavourful and messy, just the way I like it. Thank you for you kindness and feeding my soul.
