OMG! Came here for a snack with my 2 kids. Got a selection of appetizers, octopus, dips… Better than the food I had in Greece itself! Kids loved it , excellent service and coffee.

Well, the food was ok. It didn't taste like it was made with passion or care, but it was good enough. The lamb had a nice rosemary and grilled flavour but was very chewy. The one olive in the salad was good too. I don't like leaving bad reviews because I know it's alot of work to run a restaurant and everything but really what made the experience difficult was the dreary atmosphere. The service was exceptionally unfriendly, it was depressing. It's as if someone had died in there. If someone really did die, I'm very sorry. If not, I dunno what to say, but I hope things get better for you all. Some traditional Greek music might help?

Fast server and great food! Ordered Fried Calamari and Chicken Souvlaki Dinner. Chicken souvlaki was cooked perfect. Moist in the inside and had the perfect char on the outside. Potatoes were seasoned nicely and one of the best Greek salads I’ve tried in The Danforth. I would have given Kalyvia a perfect 5 star if the Calamari was cooked thoroughly. Unfortunately some (3-4 pieces)of my Calamari was under cooked. Other than that I’d definitely come back.

Very cultured place. Great ambience, tasty food. Love coming here to experience Greek culture and have my favourite saganaki on fire!

Had it for delivery. Still eating now. Damn good. Not heavy, flavourful, and juicy. Also, huge shout out for putting salad dressing on the side, no one likes a soggy salad and this place understands. ??? Keep it going

Probably one of the worst Greek food experiences that I've had. We ordered a pork souvlaki dinner and paid extra for a large. Did not look like a large. Also, the meat was quite dry. We also ordered a trio of dips for $19 and paid extra $3 for extra pita. The dips were all nasty. The taramasalata had a sour taste to it, the tirosalata was made clearly with cream cheese and not feta, the mezelitsalata (the eggplant one, pardon my spelling) was just one big taste of raw garlic. These dips also came in small take out styrofoam coffee cups - talk about an unappetizing, ghetto packaging for $19. All in all, it was $60 for a 'large' pork souvlaki, 3 dips and some soggy pita. I should have ordered from Astoria as the food there is always legit, tasty and fresh, but these guys had a special 'no delivery fee' on UberEATS. The moral of the story is that it's on sale for a reason.

I order from skip it was good price for calamari dinner. Huge rice, Calamari, potato’s, Greek salad and bread. Fresh and tasty good but calamari is less I thought but still great.

Picked up some takeout from here. The family loved the food. A little pricey but the portions are large. Takes awhile to prepare, they make the food fresh when you order. This is a ghost thing!!!
