★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed probably the best cheddar and chive scone I've ever had this morning at Son of a Bean. No exaggeration. We stopped in after a grueling workout for a snack and was blown away by the quality of the food and coffee. Amazingly great alternative to Starbucks... Excited to return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here for an iced coffee while out for a walk, and I guess I picked the wrong item because I took one sip and ended up tossing it. I don't know if it had been sitting in the plastic pitcher too long, or possibly a store bought cold brew concentrate they are using, but it just tasted like a cup full of chemicals. I guess I should have just gotten an americano.
The person at the counter who helped me was polite and prompt, and the cafe itself was clean and well decorated. Very good atmosphere.
I just hate that I paid $5 for a small cup of iced coffee that I couldn't even drink, but willing to give their hot coffee a shot as other reviews say it's good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in by chance one day and loved what I saw. It's a very cozy, indpendant coffee shop with a great selection of coffee, tea's and pastries on the Danforth. I just had a green tea that day which was great, but I'll be back to sample more. The staff was so friendly and it felt like a small town coffee shop in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delightful and pleasant experience. Very personable staff that it caught me off guard as its not common in most coffee shops. Great coffee. The super fresh bread was delicious! I look forward to coming back even though I only walked in because of the simple sign saying coffee haha. Best wishes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice independent coffee shop in Danforth. Small but cozy. Has a selection of pastries and cookies. I had a latte and the espresso was strong but not bitter. The staff were pleasant and gave off a nice vibe. Cute, homey decor. Will return for a coffee again.
