About Alberta Blue Cross
The Government of Alberta provides seniors with premium-free coverage for prescription drugs and other health-related services not covered under the AHCIP. Effective March 1, 2020, seniors' family members under 65 years of age are no longer eligible for the Coverage for Seniors program. If you have any questions, please contact the AHCIP office. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with the Staff (Shannon) was impeccable. She answered all of my questions and helped me find coverage that worked for me. I do find it ridiculous though that they won't provide coverage for anything you are on prior to asking for coverage. I couldn't afford coverage until now but I feel penalized for having health concerns. So a fan of the staff, so far not a big fan of the company.
