★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT —I finally was able to work things out the GM and he had one of his employees come over and do a full recap of the system! Everything is now working properly and the issues have been resolved . I deleted the last review of 1 star and bumped it to 4 stars

We called them May of 2020 to install security camera on our house and they want me to pay for 1 year upfront and we agree but the problem is there sales person did not mentioned to us that we are on 60 months contract and even the installer he did not mention that we are on 60 months contract. After 1 year they bring us to collection agency because we did not pay for 2 months that we don’t know that we are on monthly payment. My wife talk to them around May and told them that we will think about it to renew And they charge us $3500 through collection.
I tried yesterday to talk to the manager and they said he is busy and today I called again they said his on vacation for 2 weeks. The lady in there office insist that I have 60 months contract. By the way they let us sign this hidden contract on there iPad nobody explain to us about the 60 months contract and worst part is they let us sign it and send the contract after they install the unit. We only sign for 1 year contract that we already paid.
This is the worst and never ever recommend to anybody. If there is zero I’ll give them 5 zeros star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not trust this company , i signed up with them and they sold my account to fluent without my permission and now im stuck with fluent due to my contract . I contacted alarmtek about this and they admitted they messed up but would do nothing to assist me .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst business we have ever dealt with my entire life. We signed a two year contract with this frauds in 2017, I saw 2 years written clearly on the iPad. We were never informed that our account has been moved to fluent. After the supposed contract ought to have expired then we were informed that our account is with Fluent.
When we went to Fluent's office, We mentioned to the guy that we signed a two year contract on an iPad, with two years written on it. The guy was so rude and said "I should have opened my eyes while I was signing". With the stress of going through court, we agreed to pass the 5 year. Now the 5 year contract is done, this clowns renewed our contracts without informing us and saying that we should have informed them with a hand-written letter our intentions to end the contract, not even an email.
The guy's name is Scott, he tried to bully me but I stood my ground while I was on the phone with him. It will cost us 0 legal fee.
This company deserves -0 star if there is any.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scouting various security company in saskatoon I came across AlarmTek Smart Security and they provided me with the best options of security packages to me what stood out to me was their excellent sales team who helped us finding the right equipment for our home and a very affordable rates, Professional installer who came out on weekend to install as we weren't available during the week and most importantly their 24×7 tech support is happy to help us anytime. definitely recommend AlarmTek for your need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keep having issues with their equipment. Took 2 weeks and multiple complaints/phone calls, emails and messages before they sent a tech back to replace it. Email manager wanting a call and didn't happen until I said I want to go public about the issues and terrible customer service. Would not recommend this company!!!
Was contacted by owner/GM and I've decided to stay with this system and see how things go. I was even compensated for the time I spent in addressing the issues. Interested in seeing how things play in the long run.
