Best Apartment building in Canada

A	Alan B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For example, last year the heat was not turned on until end of November bc of "furnice problems" and when it was it was so low our entire floor was angry. They said they needed a specialist to come "turn the heat up manually" in all the apartments. After we all threated to go to the Regie, magically the heat went up without anyone actually coming to the apt thus proving their lies. Look elsewhere unless you don't mind wearing your winter jacket inside half of the year. Please see review of other properties and you will see it is a common problem.
K	K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place to live. There is no AC, they turn the heat on too late, they shut off the water to the building constantly and, when it is on, its ice cold. The majority of the apartments do not have buzzers, the mailboxes are falling apart and the ceilings have exposed wiring. The building is always under construction and all they do is make the building worse.
L	Louise Peacock on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived in the annexe to this building in 1965 and it was just the same. The rent however was so low none of us minded. I paid $50/mo for my tiny flat on the second floor of the annexe - you could only reach it from the fire escape.

The heating works well in the winter, the buzzer system to let friends in is convenient & there's a working laundry room. I only wish the building had AC. I don't understand why some reviews are so low...
Y	Yutaka Tokuda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice historical apartment building built in 1910's. Considering how old the building is, the management team seems doing their best to maintain the building well. The only concern I have is with the tenants letting their pets pee in the hallway.
