T	Tom A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sump pump died a few days into the lock down and the sump was overflowing. No other pump store was open except Ajax Pump. Called him and he said to come over as he knew no one else was open. I walked into a shop full of thick what smelled like scented pipe tobacco smoke. He had a replacement pump but it seemed like a really high price. When I questioned the price all he would smugly say is that it was a good one and no others were available. As I would have had to wait a week to get one delivered I had to take it. After I installed it and mopped up the basement I began researching the price. As far as I am concerned I was gouged. I suggest researching pricing prior to shopping at Ajax Pump Motor and watch out for tobacco smoke when entering.

Technician gave me the option of a $20 capacitor fix and deal with continued noise (as it an aged pump), do an overhaul, or replace it. I chose to replace the motor for less that I saw advertised elsewhere …. and he had me out the door in 30 minutes. Highly recommend Ajax Pump Motor Spa & Pool! Will return again with any service needs.

Told me it was not their responsibility! It was only one week old! After looking at some online reviews I went to Ajax pool and pump. If there was ever someone that exemplified fantastic customer service , it would be Martin. He diagnosed it quickly on the spot and fixed it within minutes. And to top it all off- EXTREMELY affordable. Any one in the Durham region that has any pump issues, you would be hard pressed to find anyone that comes close to their customer service and affordability.

Without any hesitation he was able to replace my Hayward Super pump within one hour. Not only did Martin install the motor and all of the rings, he did all the fine-tuning. Amazing customer service! Thank you very much? I would highly recommend these guys.

Had a 1HP Hayward Super Pump not firing and my pool was down, so I took the motor off and took it to the team who quickly diagnosed and replaced the Motor for me. Reasonable rates, amazing, friendly service and we had great conversation as well while diagnosing the issue.
