My only issue was the water - it would suddenly change from comfortable to boiling hot, to freezing cold throughout my shower. It also made a screeching sound I thought was the fire alarm at first! Regardless, I love this motel and will stay here again, and again, and again.

We got breakfast in the morning which was basically cereal, sandwiches, coffee, tea and juice. The manager was very polite. Free fast wifi and a good location. 8/10 would stay again.
T	Todd Pipella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very comfortable place to stay. Don’t let the outside looks fool and never judge a book by its cover. Besides being very affordable. The continental breakfast had top notch cereals and very delicious raisin bread with real butter. The breakfast area is a super comfortable setting, that resembles an old English study with opera music playing in the background. Very friendly people operating the motel as well I highly recommend staying here.
L	Liam Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please note that I am writing this review while laying in the bed at this motel. First thing I noticed was the room smelled like it hadn’t been aired out in awhile . Managed to fix that with opening all the windows. Considering this place looked and smelled old it was still clean and quite large (kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a futon that turns into a bed). There were some things that could be fixed/updated; the burn marks on the kitchen counter and the door frame that looks as if though it has been kicked in once or twice. The air conditioning worked a little but could only do so much. The power would occasionally flicker, I hope management will take a look into that. Found a red ant in a bed and a spider in the bath tub but are no longer a threat. The new TV, couch and the large fridge was nice. POSITIVE: clean and big NEGATIVE: needs better maintenance

We have a BBQ and picnic table with a little grassed yard to use. I love staying here. Very safe area, don’t have to worry about vehicle break ins. Way better then staying a one of the high priced hotels in town! This place is wonderful! I give 6! Stars :) We come from out of town and this is now our wonderful little relaxation spot to stay during our Vacation in Quesnel :)

On site laundry at $5.00 an hour is convenient (although one dryer doesn’t work very well at the time of this review). The campground is contained and far enough off Hwy 97 so limited traffic noise. Pulp mills in the immediate area can give some bad odour depending on the wind but it’s not been a problem for us. Walking path for dogs. Owners are friendly and can be seen tending the sites and adjoining hotel throughout the day. Down side, it is very open with no shade.

Stay knowing the value you're getting & being realistic w/ expectations, you'll be pleased. Owner (I believe) seemed very pleasant & attentive during the brief time for check in, then came a few minutes later to let me know I'd left my lights on. Much appreciated. Would stay again ??
