★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been going evening kayaks with them for last couple of weeks and this past weekend did a 3 hour sailing with captain Andrew! They are the nicest and sweetest people. We have so much fun renting from them. Everything is so neatly sanitized and cleaned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Days on Front chip truck was absolutely delicious yesterday afternoon. It’s such a nice idea. You can order drinks (alcoholic ones) and sit on the patio and enjoy them. The food was to die for. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Highly recommend visiting here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now that I live close to the lake, I practically live at Ahoy Rentals. I paddle (kayak and SUP) locally (near Queen’s/KGH, Breakwater Park, and Lake Ontario Park) and to the stunning surrounding islands (i.e., Cedar Island, Whiskey Island, Garden Island, Wolfe Island, and Milton Island) for ~1-3 hours per session multiple times a week.
The customer service is consistently outstanding and the equipment is incredible. Andrew and his staff (Abby, Ben x 2, Jocelyn, Julian and other lovely individuals whose names I don’t know yet) are amazing on all fronts – they are very friendly, highly knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to make sure that you have a safe and wonderful experience every single time you go out on the water. I highly recommend Ahoy Rentals to anyone who is looking for a memorable and fun time at a very reasonable price and easily accessible location.
Thank you so much Ahoy Rentals for introducing me to kayaking and SUPing last August! With your help, I quickly went from being a complete novice to a confident and much more experienced paddler who thoroughly enjoys going on long scenic paddles both alone and with friends. I wish I had learned how much I love these water activities when I first moved to Kingston, and am currently trying to make up for lost time! ?
If you’re lucky, you can catch Andrew and his beautiful dog, Misha, out on the water SUPing! I think I could learn a thing or two from Misha. She’s a pro!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried over the weekend to kayak. Unfortunately, the waves proved to be too much for us. We were out for 10 minutes and had to return. Staff was gracious enough to not charge us for the time. One of our party members did go out longer and they had a great time. Friendly staff and very helpful indeed. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I typically paddle 4-5 days a week at Ahoy and I love it. The staff are all amazing, friendly and knowledgeable and they are all super quick to remember people’s names and preferences and make everyone feel welcome (they even know which paddle I like).
Andrew is awesome to deal with and always does his best to accommodate the customers needs.
For anyone wanting to enjoy an hour or a day on our beautiful waterfront I 100% recommend Ahoy!
