★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My best African food center for now. Nice fresh meat, roasted meat, great African collections, but they needed to work on the Cassava leaf. The cassava leaf package are well packed but was always poorly grind or pounded, like we would have it in Liberia. However, recently I notice some improvements on the pounded cassava leaf. Nice African music sound coming out from the clean and clear sound system. Great place to visit for African Groceries.

On dec 30 i bought smoked neck and did not look at expiration date. It looks like expiration is on nov 4 2021 - you can check on picture. They gave it to me in bag which labeled - packed dec 30.
On dec 31 i have nice dinner with my family of 5 people. And i am the only one who has tried that smoked neck at the end. I tried 1 piece only and it was not tasty so i threw it to the garbage. At 4 am i woke up and vomited everything in toilet.
And i am the only one who vomited in our family.
On january 1 i took a bag and looked at expiration.
I also bought frozen turkey tail there, which had lots of water when i unfrozed it. It looked like it was frozed and unfrozed few times already.
Have to look at expiration as well.
But i got fresh meat ( turkey wings) - and prapared in oven - looks ok. But was not feeling that super fresh
In general - store itself is in unsanitary condition.
Staff are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for African and Caribbean ingredient and food ? This is the best place in Toronto to buy prepared and raw ingredients. Depending on where you live, you may need to drive there or get an uber. Parking is available in the front. All sorts of meat, poultry and fish are available.
Cashiers were not as courteous as the other staff in the store but were professional nonetheless.

On me, nasty cashiers, when i say hellos politely;
They never answered, sometimes I ask what kind Black Women's?. But the place is good nice and clean, good Africans foods and good price. The Manager is very friendly ever Man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the biggest I’ve seen with varieties but the lady at the fresh meat section is super rude and there’s a little stench in that area as well. I’ve experienced her rudeness twice. I’ll stick to African freshness on lawrence which is bigger with everything .
