p	paul bunion on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you are reading this, you are already having a hard time. I just came back from retrieving my wife's remains. Amanda, the person I dealt with was beyond fantastic. They have all of the paper work laid out for you, even down to the most common credit card company's phone numbers to call and cancel cards when you are up to it. It is hard to tell some one on the phone why you are calling specially if it still doesn't seem real. Having the task of claiming your loved one so organized and thought out was a true blessing. Not often do I have kind words to say about any business I deal with, most are apathetic at best and down rude most of the time. Not here. It has to be done, you have to do it, they make it as easy, pleasant and efficient as possible. The same morning I had been researching what I needed and then, Amanda presents me a file "Ok, here's this, here's that, do this, keep that, mail them this, use these forms" Did I mention the forms are already completed with any information that they have available ? I just wish this was not the kind of business that I am not in a hurry to return to, BUT I can assure you, don't hesitate if this is the road you are unfortunately travelling. From the first phone call the staff at Affordable Burials and Cremations were compassionate, professional and very thorough. Their organized approached kept us informed in an amazingly dignified manner. I had several questions dealing with matters I truthfully had never faced before. The staff's assistance and guidance gave me comfort and guidance at one of the worst times of our lives. From the bottom of our hearts the staff of Affordable Burials and Cremations eased our burden in so many ways. It was as if I was dealing with friends helping us along this difficult path. Andrew Newbigging and everybody else I spoke with there were extremely compassionate and professional in helping us through a difficult time, and I very much appreciated that they made the necessary paperwork as stress-free as possible for my mother. It must be a very difficult business to be in, and we are very fortunate to have people like Andrew and his team in it; I would recommend them without hesitiation to anybody going through the difficult experience of losing or preparing for the loss of a loved one.

The costs and transparency made it really easy for me to select options which ultimately made my decision to work with them easy. Andrew was really helpful. He advised social services would cover expenses and helped point me in the right direction and refunded my costs immediately without any issues. Thanks for your help and appreciate your advice.

The staff was extremely kind and compassionate. The facility is beautifully decorated with a calming atmosphere. They were very helpful with the "after" arrangements (canceling S.I.N as an example), and preparing next steps documents. Quite impressive. My brother living in Toronto died suddenly and my husband and I had to travel from U.K. to resolve his situation considering that he lived alone. Through Google search we found “Affordable Burials and Cremations”, we talked to them over the phone, and they understood us and carried out the procedure during one week, just in time for our arrival in Toronto. We received my brother ashes along with the required paperwork in a very professional and courteous manner. Harriet was especially helpful during our emails and meeting explaining the future paperwork to do. Special thanks to all the staff and we highly recommend this business.
