★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had our car break down while on summer vacation in Vernon,rented a 2014 Ford Escape titanium from Affordable Auto Rentals.The Car was spotless inside and out and ran perfect.The manager even offered to fit our car in to his shop and fix it if the dealer couldn't get to it right away.Very accommodating and easy to work with.Thanks Affordable Auto Rentals and staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The car was good but there was an excessive surprise charge of $20/day for insurance. This really raises the price of the car and the company does not live up to their name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst place in town to rent a vehicle from. He will take a credit card or deposit and tell you one price and then when you return the car even after having it washed and fueled up you will get charged more then what you were told. He even charged me an extra full day rental for having the car back at 5:30 pm on a holiday while they were closed, when I rented it at 3:45 pm. less then 2 hours late after he said it didnt matter what time because they were closed anyway. Thats not to mention the extra $250 he tries to charge you for apparently smoking in his car, I dont even smoke in my own vehicle because I have kids. Charges agreed before rental when he handed me the keys $176... what he tried to charge me $553 when I got back, after arguing with him for 20 minutes, $303, still almost double what we agreed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my friends and I were in a pinch, Affordable was the only place that offered a reasonable price. Moreover, we got a great car that drove really well. No unexpected or hidden charges, everything went super smoothly and I'd definitely recommend this shop. Support local businesses!

The car came with winter tires.
I'm not sure what the last guy is talking about. However if you smoke and drink as I think this character did , I can see the owners issue. I've rented quite a few cars with Affordable and have been treated with courtesy.
The staff was forth coming with what was expected of me.
The cars were clean and only 1 - 2 years old.

returning was even quicker. I will definitely go to them again in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I broke down in Vernon and needed to rent a car so I walked over to affordable and rented a car. It took about 10 minutes and I was on my way! Very quick and simple. They are extremely friendly and the vehicle was awesome. I will absolutely use them again and I would refer anyone who needs to rent a vehicle to go see them, definitely no disappointments!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an oil seal go on our Forester, and it would several days to get parts and do the repair. Budget and Enterprise had no cars and their prices pretty high. Affordable had several cars available and got us on our way home quickly. Turned out, the repair only took 3 days, so brought the car back to Affordable and even though we had signed a contract for the week, Chris only charged us for the 3 days. Easy pickup, and easy return, thanks!
