I have been a consumer for AEBC since August 2020. The correspondence when seeking support has been slow and extremely vague at best. For example, when i sent an email to the "Team Lead of Sales and Technical Support" after testing the speed and wanting to reduce the price I pay the for the speed "cap", the only advice offered was that "I cannot offer you a rebate if this wasn't reported to our technical support" by the Team Lead of Sales and Technical Support - who no longer is associated with AEBC. I have recently moved, and upon contacting the customer service department via email, I was only then informed about an apparent "Move" fee. They offered no link or documentation to prove that this fee would be valid. In fact, when asked to produce a document I had signed that explained any moving fees, I was told "I am sorry,the document you have signed was not included about moving service. It was just for new order not moving order.", And when asked to present a link or document that explained this moving fee I received: "Hi (my name here), We can't provide any document this moment, I will suggest to add those information on our website" Unfortunately, they have the best price for the service I am looking for at this time. So I am being forced to pay a fee that has only been made aware to me via email, and in no official documentation or on the website to maintain internet service. Overall the actual internet service has been satisfactory. I have only noticed two outages that I was not made aware of - whether they knew and failed to reach out, or the outage was unplanned is still unknown.

I've used AEBC in Coquitlam via fibre to the premises, for about four years now. In that time, it has only gone down once - when a car crashed into an equipment cabinet next to the sidewalk. I get the full 100/100mbit and have had absolutely no trouble at all. Rock solid service at a great price.

Worst ISP I've ever used. One day it went down for 24 hours which as a one off case I can kind of understand. But almost daily service would randomly cut out, kicking us off the wifi. We called about that and they sent a technician to our house randomly without informing us. Tried to cancel and transfer to Teksavvy and they did not inform Shaw properly (the provider for both services). I asked them to delay the cancellation since Shaw wasn't informed like I asked them to do, then they didn't respond in time and shut off the service, leaving me without wifi and having to pay a transfer fee. My final email to their customer service team: "Absolutely unbelievable. I spoke with an agent on the phone (who was actually very nice and helpful) who confirmed you've shut off the service. Not only that, but you cancelled with Shaw rather than putting through a transfer even though I told you it would be a transfer. You might want to be more observant with future customers if they mention a transfer that you will put through a transfer with Shaw and not a cancellation. In any case, now you've completely screwed us by costing us the $45 transfer fee with Teksavvy who has to now do a new activation because it was cancelled and not transferred, AND it's probably going to take until Monday unless Teksavvy can pull off a miracle with getting a quicker response from Shaw. AEBC is by far the worst ISP I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I hope this can help you improve for other people who are using your services. I doubt you will, but a credit of $45 at least to cover the transfer fee you caused would be a nice gesture."

I have used AEBC for high speed internet and TV for 2+ years and have had a great, hassel-free experience! I moved during that time and they were extremely helpful in switching my services over to my new home. Their prices can't be beat - highly recommended!

Their chiphertv bar software is so out of date, most apps I try to use won't work, I'll be watching a program and it shuts down on its own. I've been with them for a few years now but its time I checking out other providers, to many problems over the past few months, I've even lost channels they still advertise is in the package.

So they contacted me and flashed my TV bar, now my remote doesn't work, and over a week I haven't been able to PVR any programs. My TV shuts down on its own, missed half of an NHL playoff game cause it shut down, when it turned on stayed black. Looking at another provider, sad technical support, and no resolving the problem.

Switched from Shaw Jan 2021... Immediately started getting 2-4 disconnects a day, every day. Had the technician called out twice. First time was was told my signal and setup is good, problem is with AECB's equipment. Replaced router. Second time technician called out, same issue... "your signal is good, the issue is with your provider." Switched back to Shaw in November. I now get between 0 and 0 disconnects a day. If you want reliable internet, do not use AEBC. Waste of time and money.

This is my first online review ever. My WIFI should be connected 1 WEEK AGO, but so far.....NOTHING happened after more than 10 phone calls. Many times, the phone calls were put on hold for 6-8 minutes, and another representative pick up the call and asked me to repeat my information and request AGAIN. The customer service just kept saying they already "emailed" their tech support team since this is the only way for their communication. They also told me that the only thing I can do is... WAIT. If you don't want to deal with this horrible nightmare, STAY AWAY from this company even though their price may be a little cheaper than other companies.
