★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a perfect long weekend getaway - fantastic location, clean comfortable and lovingly appointed guest house, endless boat watching from the hot tub looking out on to Active Pass - it was simply perfect. Thank you so much for your hospitality - we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Island is such a relaxing place to get away from everything. The suite had a wonderful deck I spent hours reading, sketching and watching the ferries and boats go by. Shirley and Mike were wonderful hosts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just emailed and found out that this was “non conforming to the Island” as a short term rental and can no longer be rented out. This place is so beautiful and a great little spot to get away If anyone else has a way to bring this place back it needs to be done. I’ll choose what I want to sleep in and that would be on the list. So it’s old and the locks don’t work all that well and some of the other stuff is aged (slightly), some of us live in newer houses and strive for this kind of lodging as it has character and love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though we came to Galiano to hike, we found ourselves hurrying back early to enjoy the peace of the beachhouse. There's nothing like watching the ferries pass at sunset while soaking in a hot tub, or seeing them sail by from the comfort of a soft bed. The owners are nice, kind, and very helpful. They've thought of everything you might need for your stay and even dropped us off at the ferry when it was time for to go (picking us up from the farmers market down the road so we could buy up some provisions for our ferry ride). I look forward to going back soon! Hopefully, I'll see the orcas on our next visit - they pass by from time to time.
