★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for what I thought was a flat tire. Turns out it was just corrosion that needed to be wiped down (causing the tire to lose air slowly). I was really worried about getting it fixed asap as I needed the car for a busy day of driving. I was really impressed that they were honest and fixed the actual issue. I have dealt with other companies who were not forthcoming about issues. I will definitely be back. Thank you for your honesty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited store to have my summer tire rebalanced, I was charged for environmental and shop charges as well as installation kit. In addition to their posted price for tire balancing which states from $59.95, however I was charged parts and labour amount of $82 plus. When I questioned the charge I was told the posting states the price list states from $$$$.
Considering that my tires where already on steel rims and already off my vehicle. THIS IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I will not give this business any more of my jobs.
My advise to all future customers is to avoid this shop.

The detailed report (with photos) that was emailed to me, made the repairs I required easy to see and understand. I highly recommend Active Green + Ross, Danforth location!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the shop to check my pressure after having a flat blown up, the staff were great and helped me out right away, I at the time was borrowing a friends vehicle and explained that I was desperate and down on my luck, he took a look at my tire and said it couldn’t be fixed and I would have to purchase two new tires, it was a small nail in the tire…. Surprised by this I was able to take it to a friends shop out of town who had tires available for me that day…. That being said tires did not have to be replaced as it was a small nail not even in the sidewall like this shop had told me, they fixed the tire with no issues. So I feel that this shop was trying to take advantage of me, for reference the other tire shop had a couple guys look at it and all agreed it could easily be fixed.
Edit: the owner was response and did apologize, maybe try to deal with him directly? He had a difference of opinion as to the other tire shop. Really appreciated a response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have searched for at least 4 years for an honest, professional and knowledgeable place to have my vehicle serviced at. From dealerships to mom and pop shops. I will tell you. This facility is by far the best. Not only do they check every box but they do it all with kindness and respect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After going to a large chain competitor, nearly across the street from this shop, where I was quoted over $2600 for 3 major parts and labour, Mario SHOWED me that I only needed 1 part and that it would cost me just over $500 with labour included. I was floored at the difference. I agreed to have AGR do the work, of course, and then explained what I was quoted by the other shop. Mario said that I was not the first to come to them with this story. Beware, and get a second opinion. So glad I did. I will be bringing my business here from now on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was pleasantly surprised to find my favourite mechanic (Mario, from a different Green and Ross), so I was really happy as soon as I walked in for maintenance on the brakes of my CRV.
I had been informed by another mechanic that both front and rear brakes (pads, rotors, etc) needed to be done. But I didn't trust him, as I'd just had rear brakes fixed a year before. At this Green And Ross, Mario explained WHY both needed to be done, which I found so reassuring and helpful (even if I don't like to pay for these things).
All in all, I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs work done on their car.
