★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had one of our motors go down on our paint booth and Kevin and his Action Engines team bent over backwards to get us back up and running! The service was Incredible. Not to mention that this happened on a SUNDAY!!!! Very few companies would have gone this above and beyond, but these guys did it with a smile on their face! I would highly recommend Action Engines! Thank you so much Kevin!

Action engines has serviced our existing equipment for both our acreage and our business as well as upgraded us when our equipment got tired. Great place to deal with great customer service!!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After seeing the other reviews I'm surprised by the lack of communication by Action Engine.
It's been 2 1/2 months and our lawnmower has still not been fixed. Knowing that the time we dropped our machine off would be during their busy months and that a part had to be ordered, I waited 3 weeks to place a follow up call to Action Engine. I was told the parts would be in the following week, 2 weeks at the most and that we'd have our mower back the week after (that's a total of 6 weeks).
I've not heard from them since. Not great customer service if you ask me. A quick follow up call to let us know that they were still waiting on the part would have been nice.
We are just back from a few week's vacation and I'm about to call them again. The inconvenience and embarrassment of having to ask our neighbours to borrow their mowers outweighs the cost of paying for the repair.
I'm sadly disappointed. While we may be the "one-off" situation with this company, I don't anticipate us recommending this company to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Action Engine did a great job getting my Generac 30 amp Homelink transfer switch model #6852, working. The switch was incorrectly wired straight from Generac and didn't come with a detailed wiring diagram. While In the process of figuring it out, (with little help from Generac Customer Service) a mechanical piece broke. I had to wait 3 weeks for Generac to ship the replacement part to Alberta from the U.S. Once in the hands of Action Engine, they professionally installed the replacement part and had the system up and running in minutes.
I would totally recommend Action Engine to my family and friends.

The work is always on time, fast and done well. They're also really great people and nice to everyone who brings in the vehicles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The level of customer service and attention to detail found at Action Engines far exceeds what is typical of today's small businesses in the Calgary area. I have been a customer of this firm for several years, and whether for small engine purchase or repair, whole home generators, antique or classic automotive assistance, or quality shop equipment, Kevan and his staff can't be beat. I recently purchased of a set of tire machines for my home shop from Action Engines, and they were very reasonably priced, of much higher quality than others offered in Calgary, and were delivered and set up free of additional charge, and came with a one year warranty.
Five Stars, highly recommended for their high level of customer service, quality work and superior product offerings.
