★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hotel with excellent service. The manager helped me to carry my (very heavy) travel valise up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The ladies at the desk were so nice. I was there to compete in the Canadian Death Race and they were so kind and welcoming. The room was very comfortable with a nice deep bathtub. I am definitely staying there again next year!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first the visit didn't start off too good because they couldn't find our booking. But then they scrambled and hooked us up with a room that was pet friendly. The girls were apologetic and very nice. The beds were really comfy. Not overly clean but it wasn't bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was working up there a few years back and stayed there. Everything was really great.. rooms spotless & a breakfast stand early in the morning for toast cereals coffee Etc All complementary!! Highly recommend and will be back there!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Acorn motel was the absolutely perfect location for the Canadian Death Race 2021. Room had ample space, almost full size fridge/ freezer and where clean and a pleasure to come back to after the race. Manager and all staff were available all the time and super friendly. Thanks!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paper thin walls, can hear neighbors phone alerts as loud as my own. Weird smells throughout the building. Mattress springs worn out don’t hold you, feel like I’m being dumped into the head board. Pillows are very hard and lumpy like a bag of baby potatoes. TV speakers pop and crackle. There’s 25 channels but there’s several duplicates so more like 15. Room is boiling hot even with heat turned off and window open with -5 outside. Asked for a different room and front desk staff just hummed and hawed and said we’ll see what we can do later, later even less helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for work. Place is a bit older, but beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean. Front desk staff were cheerful and nice to deal with. I really couldn't have asked for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Housekeeping stole change from my dresser, and went through all of my personal belongings. Room walls are paper thin and the manager over charges for room. Beds were uncomfortable and the room was ice cold.
