P	Peter McClure on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed here many times over the years as leader of an Edmonton hiking group, and always found the rooms comfortable and the service good. The beds are great, the wi-fi good, and the onsite restaurant has excellent food.

I gave a 4 star review previously but dropped it down now because on our recent visit, I received a bit of extra protein in my burger in the form of a short black hair. (Not super-short and curly or anything like that, but an inch-and-a-half long black straight hair). The kitchen staff should put on hairnets it's really unappetizing and has kind of turned us off the place. Thanks.
S	Sharon Hamilton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are in a Johnny Canoe room, one of the newly renovated ones. It is lovely. The beds are comfortable, the room is quiet, the decor is relaxing. The bathroom is luxurious and ultra modern with three different showerheads and gorgeous tile. There is hand carved artwork both in the room and outside on each door. Great service, great food and friendly, accommodating staff. This is the fourth time we've been here and we will be back.
A	Alain Massé on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newer, updated room was fine, similar to big brand hotel. Hotel was pretty quiet and comfortable. Attached restaurant was decent. The grounds were pretty well maintained and there are nice trees and firewood at the back, which I would have enjoyed if I had been there for leisure. People at the front desk could have been more responsive. At checkout the girl had lots of trouble with the credit card terminal and somehow charged me for other people's rooms.

Checking in was easy and the lady at the front desk let me know they have updated rooms and non upgraded rooms. I opted for one of the upgraded room and enjoyed it. Rooms are quite dark, some better light bulbs would be a great however the shower was awesome All in all its a good hotel and the staff is very friendly.
