★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a shocker...I guess this place is meant for kids who need a place to go skiing or stuff.. set up like a college dorm...one too soft filthy armchair, a very, very basic bathroom (only a cheap old acrylic shower ) one tiny little picture stuck in a corner and the smallest cheapest bedside lamps...oh, and the bed ...soft and mooshy. Oh well its only one night, thank heavens. My hubby, bless his soul, booked it, thinking he had found a treasure out of downtown as its my 65th birthday. It was all I could do to keep from crying. Yes there are a couple of plastic chairs to sit outside, but they must have 10 years of grime and dirt on them. Hopefully this alerts some other unsuspecting travelers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked through Expedia about two months ahead, but only five days before our planned trip, we received this message:
“Acker Vacation Homes & Suites (1348595) has informed us they’re unable to accommodate your reservation because they have overbooked their property and the room you booked is not available.”
I thought only airlines do overbooking. Guess I was wrong....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this while searching for stay as a last minute helter skelter plan, but it turned out much better than expected. Rates are reasonable, the place is a gem. Great views facing West towards Kelowna. Rooms are homely and comfortable. With all basic amenities.
Couldn't use the hot tub or the BBQ, but will be back again!
Perfect place for a vacation with a quieter crowd, maybe not so much if the intent is to make some "noise".
Also a bit far from the city/town, so ensure to stock yourself with what ever you need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is immaculate, the view is stunning ? would return in a heartbeat. I saw what I believe was a family partridge run across the street?. Quite neighborhood. Will be back. I read reviews that the service was rude, if that's what you consider rude you must be beyond entitled. The manager was polite, friendly and extremely accommodating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
