About
Purpose
The Chapter is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to disseminating knowledge, technical information, and best practices of concrete supply and placement to the concrete community of Manitoba. The purpose of the Manitoba Chapter is to further the chartered objectives for which ACI International was organized; to further education and technical practice, scientific investigation, and research by organizing the efforts of its members for a non-profit, public service in gathering, correlating, and disseminating information for the improvement of the design, construction, manufacture, use, and maintenance of concrete products and structures.
Since our inception in 1988, the Chapter has striven to further the local knowledge base regarding concrete through regular dinner presentations highlighting changes in the world of concrete design, construction and research; presentations on local high profile projects, seminars on various current topics; and through ongoing ACI Certification programs.
