L	Laura Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called Ace to request a cab around midnight on Saturday. They were very polite and knowledgeable upon answering the phone. Unfortunately, we were told that a cab could not be used for us since they needed them for local customers in Collingwood and that we could have one but would need to wait an hour and a half instead of 30-35 min (if local informed us). This was very unfortunate since no Uber cars were available either and with a monopoly in the area, they really should prioritize those who would not be able to get home without a vehicle rather than those who are closest and could walk. This really complicated things for us with our babysitter as we could not get home. This is poor service and getting a cab shouldn’t be based on where you are going especially when obviously we are paying for that time so either way the fare should be the same.
A	Andrew Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a taxi at the end of a long solo hike in snowy conditions. They were prompt at answering the phone and sent me a taxi to take me back to my car. Great guy who stayed with me until he was happy that I was able to drive and wasn't stuck. Cannot recommend highly enough - Great service!
A	Ally Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 30 minutes at the taxi stand in the blue mountain village in freezing cold - was told that the cabs have “no ETA you just have to wait until they show up”. What kind of cab company doesn’t let you order the cab and just has you wait for an undetermined amount of time outside? Was frustrated, walked 25 minutes home in the freezing cold in the middle of the night.
P	Pete Bates on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Collingwood for one night, a Thursday in Feb. Taxi arrived at our hotel to take us to a bar. Driver very skillfully talked us out of going to the bar we asked to go to and took us to Blue Mountain a much longer ride from our hotel. The destination we were taken to was not as described by the driver. They were pure tourist traps with terrible service and poor over priced food. On our return jounery back to the hotel the fare was a whole $6 cheaper...? I feel cheated out of my own hard earned cash. If you have to use this service beware of the old lady with long grey hair. I even tipped her 20%. Not a great way to welcome people to your town. If you're in Collingwood looking for a beer and food just head straight for Northwinds Brewhouse and Kitchen. We went there for lunch on the Friday. It was a 5star pub experience. If you're close enough maybe try walking.

M	Mel Salas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drivers take the longer routes for no reason other than to rip off customers. Avoid and if you have to get a ride make sure you pay attention. Was in Collingwood for a month and had no choice. Glad I won't ever have to use them ever again.
C	Cindy Boyd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family member needed a safe method to get home from work at 9 pm on Friday. Taxi called, shocked with message: closed @ 7 pm - 6 am!!!! Are u serious? Places all over Collingwood & Blue are looking for staff!! MOST young people cant afford a car! Local Bus services are limited.!! There is nothing wrong with walking either...oh wait...unless its very very cold, late at night, or early hours of walking when its still dark and the streets are dark and not well lit. Public safety for this community should be number #1. Services need to meet the requirements for this to happen. Concerned citizen

I thank you Ace Cabs for being there for us when we needed you. We look forward to using you again in the future. We had organized a wheelchair accessible cab to take our Mom out for a couple hours from a long term care home. We got a call that the driver did not come to work so our outing was cancelled. There was no back up available until 3pm and our outing was at 11am. This took weeks in advance to organize for all parties involved. So disappointed in Ace cabs for not coming through on a family outing that we were all excited for.
