Not much flat space and less sand this year. 2/3 of the beach covered by rocks. Much noise coming from the new bridge. But still can do kayaking or just walking and resting up.

It changes like every week or so but it is nice and relaxing and in the City! Last month it had a flowing stream in the sand which was great for little kids. Just getting down and up is the hard part because it is super steep the ground to get there but short too

A little section is still left now, most are now under the water. The sand is fine and the water is surprisingly clean and clear. A nice place to swim in.

What a lovely little surprise I was biking downtown this afternoon and realized how hot it was +30 today and seeing people playing on the speech and throwing a football so I dove in the water and it was so refreshing! One thing I love about this place is that it’s dog friendly so I will be definitely taking my dog down there for an afternoon!

This is a really wonderful place with family or friends You can go eat and drink something here or just go and have a great time You can choose stones or sand since this place has two sections divided personally I have visited it many and times and I will continue to do so without a doubt

Accidental Beach is one of the coolest “new” hidden gems to check out in Edmonton! I’ve been coming here for years with friends for Picnics, just to hang out or even stop while kayaking! This spot can be pretty busy at times but sometimes you end up being the only ones there. Check it out this summer!

Right off the get go this place has no signs from the main road. Once you find the one way street parking is limited. No signs to get to the actual beach area. There is a steep ish hill to get to the beach (ropes in place to help ascend/descend). I would say a cool place to bring your furry friends and get some sun but nothing else. Not even porta-potties and definitely no swimming. The noise from the bridge construction isn’t terrible but it isn’t quiet either. Honesty it’s pretty bad imo.
