P	Peter Joseph on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM! Tried to sell to me but I know how these door to door gas companies work. They try to sell you gas for 4-5x the going rate with fortis. Only sign up if you want to waste thousands of dollars. Quick talking agent tried to convince me it’s a good idea but it is not. In a province with so many people who speak English as a second language this should be banned as I can see lots of people getting tricked.

Canceled the service 2 hours after I was tricked into signing. I cannot believe that the government would let these 3rd-party gas marketers price-gouge its own citizens. It's been 5 years and I still remember the ordeal. DON'T LET THEM SWEET-TALK YOU INTO SIGNING ANYTHING!!!
N	Nunaya Business on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scam. Salesman came to my door claiming represent Fortis bc pushing a payment protection scheme that he assured me was mandatory . Upon reviewing the terms I saw the the rate was 4 times that of fortisbc and that they were in fact unaffiliated with fortisbc. I immediately canceled the 'agreement ' and recieved a cancellation confirmation number.
L	Laura M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT SIGN Fortis BC’s current price is 1.5 something and Access Gas is locked in at 5.5ish. They told me I would save money. Well not at these prices I wouldn’t!! And you’re locked into a 5 year contract unless you move out of the service area. If you cancel you have to pay an early exit fee. I signed up yesterday when someone came to my door, I had my dog going crazy and 10 month old unhappy. The boy claimed to essentially just be signing me up to ensure our gas came from Canada rather than the US which promised lower prices than I’m currently getting. I thought it was odd, but he also heavily implied that they are supported by Fortis and that it’s pretty standard that every Fortis customer signs up. I feel stupid for going along with it but was flustered! Glad I had the time this morning to 1. Read the contract 2. Call Fortis. 3. Call Access Gas and get out of the contract immediately!! If you have signed up in the last 10 days call and cancel!!
K	Kyle Gordon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fell for the sales pitch only to be stuck paying a much higher price for gas for the last almost 4 years. Price of gas in BC has only gone down and these people are preying on unsuspecting people that dont know any better. Assuring them they are "protecting" them. I will admit I was one of those people and should have done my research. Was forced to leave my home due to unforeseen circumstances and had to cancel my gas account. Settled up with Fortis no problem and then a couple weeks later got a bill from Access for over $400 for cancelling my gas account. At no point did they ask why or if they could help me in the future. Keep getting letters that they will be sending to collections. Tried several times to get through to them in the last two days, with no response. Finally got through today to a very rude "customer service" rep who's only offer was to reduce the cancellation fee by 30%. Threatened collections again when I declined and asked for any other option. Huge scam and brutal customer service.
K	Kingsway Store on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BIG SCAM going on . FRAUD PEOPLE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR FORTIS INVOICE. Right now FORTISBC price is $2.88 per GJ and Access Energy charging 5.89 per GJ is double. Since 2016 Fortis did not increase their prices then why are these companies brainwashing people that price IS going to increase. CAN SOMEONE SUE THIS COMPANY . TAKE THEM IN SOCIAL MEDIA. LIERS. LIERS . FRAUD FRAUD . SCAMMERS SCAMMERS.

IT'S A TRAP - I moved to a new place where I don't have access to Fortis, and now they want to charge me a ridiculous amount of money for early termination fees, which I do not recall being explained at the time I signed the "contract"
