The installation was done on the date they booked us and they left no mess and explained everything. It looks great and runs very quietly. We are very happy with the furnace, installer and Academy. They also replaced the furnaces in our garages and we are very happy with them. Great people and great company

Oliver came and went over what I wanted done (was moving washer and dryer to the main floor and also installing a natural gas space heater in the basement). He took his time checking it out and made some excellent suggestions. Jason and Jordan did the plumbing and Shawn did the natural gas heater installation. All three of the men were very personable and efficient. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. I was extremely pleased with everyone with the service they provided and would not hesitate to recommend them. I will definitely contact them again for any future jobs.

The technician didn't once even come close to sounding like he was mansplaining to me - he treated me respectfully, explained things well and wasn't trying to "dumb it down". It was hands down the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a professional tradesperson and I will recommend Academy Mechanical to everyone! He did fantastic work, didn't take any steps without explaining to me and was very visibly concerned about working safely. Very impressed!

I had some questions about the sound from the new furnace and Jason was back the next day to seal the return duct and change the pad for the humidifier. The pad replacement was a secondary request from me at the last minute and it was no problem at all for them to do it. I appreciated Oliver's knowledge and patience with all the questions I put forward during the quote process. My experience with Academy was outstanding.

Sent Kyle to do the work, and his work ethic, workmanship and professionalism were top notch. My installation had vintage components and certain risks and considerations that Academy was right on top of. The work got done quickly, correctly and for the quoted price. It should be stated that Matt went above and beyond with customer service for this job, and spent what probably amounted to hours on the phone discussing and planning this boiler replacement and upgrade. For major boiler system upgrades or mechanical work, look no further.

We were confused as to why 3 months after installation the City had not come by to pass the work. When we phoned the City they advised a permit had not been pulled. Upon calling Academy about this we were told the permit was pulled and that they would send via email. After a second call to Academy we finally received a response a week later advising that a permit had not been pulled. We are very disappointed, make sure you do your due diligence after work is complete with these guys!!!
