Last evening during a snow storm, our furnace quit. Abram's had installed it 9 years ago, but we had an issue. My hubby tried to get it going, to no avail. At 8pm, Jeff arrived. He quickly diagnosed our problem and went back to the shop to bring and install a temporary part to see us through. We're very impressed with the friendly, professional service we received. And, our part to be installed Monday is under warranty ? We highly recommend Abrams.

Abram's was great to work with! They responded same day to come and fix a furnace at a rental property. The technician followed up with me immediately and was friendly and professional. The ladies on the phone who scheduled the appointment and dealt with billing were exceptional to deal with. They were friendly, knowledgable and kept me up to date with what was happening at my property. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Our furnace went out on one of the coldest days of winter. I was able to contact Abram on a Sunday evening and they had someone at my house just after 9am the next day! They were very helpful and walked me through what needed to be done. The heat was back on quickly and it was much cheaper than I had anticipated. The person I spoke with at their office was very knowledgeable and kind.. I thank her for getting things dealt with so quickly!

We bought furnace from them 9 years ago and have never had problems in our older house. At this moment we are in a really cold spell (-10 to -16C) Blower motor died around 3 am on a -10C night. After checking our breakers, power etc we called Emergency number and got answering service. When Tech called back within 10 minutes, he gave us the option of him coming out now and having to bill Emergency billing rate or he would come at 7AM and charge regular. Nice to have options. He arrived at 7am checked over furnace and found a non working blower motor. Told us he could order it and it should arrive overnight so he could install the next day. He offered to hook up another blower temporarily or he had a ceramic heater he would loan us. We took the heater as we didn't want the pipes to freeze in the basement. (we have a gas fireplace on main floor). It got down to -14C at night outside. Next day in the morning he arrives with replacement part and had it installed in under an hour. The part was under warranty (good for us otherwise it would have been around $1300). All we paid for was his labour. He was friendly, courteous, answered my questions and cleanup up after himself. Great company with qualified staff that are good with customers.

My york furnace motor died, I was looking to purchase the motor and was told Abrams was the local york dealer and would probably have it in stock. I was told by Abram that they couldn't sell me the motor without a gas fitting licence which I don't believe as Granger and other HVAC companies are able to order and sell this motor to me. Now I am getting it ordered elsewhere which takes about a week so no a/c for my family until it comes in. This was my second bad experience with Abrams. The first time I called about my humidifier but I installed it and cancelled my appointment. The technician came anyways and at the door I said I already got it installed. He suggested that he could have a quick peak at it. After having to explain to him how it works and without him touching a single part or tool I was then charged 80$ for a service call that I tried to cancel. I find the transparency, value and professionalism of Abrams to be severely disappointing

Just had a new heat pump installed. Right from the start with Todd quoting the job to the service guys doing the work it was a excellent experience. The service guys went totally above and beyond!! If you need any heating/cooling work done do not hesitate to call Abrams.

We have been using Abrams for 25 years for two of our commercial locations. While we have had experiences with a few other local contractors, we like Abrams best. They can fix problems others cannot, they are fair priced, and do a professional job. They get all of our new installs and upgrades.
