D	Daniel Liu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose ABF Freight for our move from New York to Toronto. They are really great, and there was always a live person on the phone to answer any questions we had. Our shipment arrived exactly as packed, minus a tiny amount of shifting which was to be expected. We're unpacking our home now and everything's as it was when we loaded it. They were very helpful in walking us through the customs process, though the place where you get your stamp to clear customs in Canada is poorly marked. Hint: If you look at the last building on the path as a long "I" shape on the provided map, it's at the very base of the building right in the middle of the bottom of the "I", as if you were splitting the letter into two hairs from the bottom. It's unmarked, but walk right in and you'll find Canadian Border Services right there at 2720 Britannia Road East. Lou was our driver and he was as helpful and considerate as anyone, and his partner Merrick was super friendly and nice too. Lou pulled an extra shift to help us avoid getting rained on for our big move, took care of the ramp for us when we couldn't fold it back, and was super careful not to damage anything backing the cargo into our driveway. Nalini was our point of contact over the phone and she was instrumental in getting us pointed in the right direction, and Dan the manager made the call that got our appointment locked in when we really needed it. All-in-all, the entire team at ABF Freight exceeded my high expectations and did a phenomenal job! Moving internationally can be pretty intimidating, so thank you ABF for helping us to understand every part of the process and making it a breeze!

The cube arrived on time, I was given clear instructions on how to clear customs ? and the cube was delivered on time to my residence in Toronto. The driver (don’t know his name) was extremely nice and helpful- he even moved one of our cars out of the driveway to make sure the cube would be positioned perfectly!

They've always made it very simple to get my stuff (importing and all) and it's pretty inexpensive for the service they offer. I love the door to door option as it makes it so much simpler to have someone drop it off and pick it up when you're done. My one and only complaint is that on this most recent move, there was a leak in the truck itself and several of my boxes got wet and a few pieces of furniture got water stains and rust on them. While this isn't the end of the world because I can clean most of it, a few pieces of my wooden furniture now have some water damage. I'll likely use this service again despite this, but will utilize more blankets/cardboard/plastic wrap to insure if it happens again it won't get on my stuff.
