ABco - Edmonton

It’s a good looking store but unfortunately that’s about it :( I can legit confirm that the other 1 star reviews are true. Staff from this store literally runs down to footlocker/champs/JD sports scalp up many pairs and try to flip them for an insane profit (read other reviews). I didn’t believe it at first until my friend and I saw a few staff/people associated with this store carry pairs straight from the footlocker/champs into their store. Kind of an embarrassing to be honest.... Don’t want to name names but a staff at one of the retailers told me they see people associated with this store come in regularly and try to buy up as many pairs as possible (even bricks) and to try to resell them for outrageous prices ($80-$120 above retai). Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true but I also heard, some approach random passerbys in the mall and ask them to go in to buy for them. Personally, I wouldn’t support this store and their tactics, especially if you are smart with your money. If you really wanted a shoe, and if you tried hard enough you get a pair at retail store and save yourself a few hundred bucks. If not, you can probably still find better deals with local sellers with a good rep on kijiji, facebook, IG. Finally, at worst I would buy on resell apps like StockX and Goat. Believe it or not, they are cheaper on there, are authenticated and they ship it straight to your house, so you don't have step foot into their store. I cringe every time I see unknowing customers come out of their store with a few pair of their overpriced shoes in hand. It's like me buying up all Apples/Pears at TNT for $1 and selling it at my no name fruit store for $4 each. Finally, don't be mislead by the "5 star reviews" on here. If a store is offering amazing service and making customers happy, it's odd to see so many 1 and 2 star reviews. I'm sure people have better things to do than give bad reviews to place, especially if the things they say is not true. It's also funny to see the random 5 star reviews pop up right after the negative ones. Read some of those 5 star reviews carefully and you'll see the picture :)

This store is great! Clean, bright, and fun atmosphere with a great selection of unique and hard to find shoes. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend this place. Edmonton needed a store like this!

Their tactics of stealing is like never ending. Even After seeing bunch of reviews about selling bricks for an extra 80-120, they won’t stop. They’ve bought bunch of pairs of Airforce1 paisley’s from JD sports which is sitting their like a normal shoe for 120. They are selling that for freaking $240, like seriously. They’re trying their best to steal customers money and they never wanna make good customers who come back. Do not fall for any scams like these. Simply go to the retail stores first. Lot of times the retail stores have heat there for fair prices. At last, if there is still people who wanna say that its a nice store in terms of prices, they have money to waste there but dont get in their trap. Who wanna pay double price for something which is not even 2 min far from that place. They dont have any supplier and always grab pairs from the retailers and transfer 10-20 pairs everyday.

Good costumer service and the store is very appealing. Store location is very convenient for me and have had plenty of shoes in my size. As a hype store in the mall it has found plenty of success. Would recommend stopping by if you are interested in hype shoes and clothing and willing to spend the money.

Had a good experience shopping here. I prefer dealing with a Brick and Mortar business rather than taking a risk online when it comes to Streetwear. The staff was friendly and they had a pretty decent selection. Will be back for fresh cops...

I'm incredibly satisfied with the customer service, especially how welcoming and friendly the workers are. I enjoy how the store is really simple, aesthetically pleasing, and well-organized. They also have the best sneakers at the best prices offered from any retailer.

Outstanding service!! We live in Ontario and travelled to Edmonton last week. My daughter pre ordered a set of Jordan’s before we left and communication was great. Store held them till we arrived. Once there Roxy treated us like we were longtime friends so much that my other two daughters each bought a pair! Just seen a pair that I liked while traveling home…a quick call back and they remembered us like we were there yesterday and our fourth pair is on their way :) Best shoe store I’ve ever visited…will be more online purchases in the future for sure…wish we lived closer Thank you abco team…cause everyone was helpful and pleasant.

Overall the setup and layout of the store is easy to navigate, not to mention all the associates ready to help and be your aid. Love how they incorporated a QR code to scan for prices and sizes (nothing like I’ve seen at any other stores). The prices are what you would expect being that it is a reseller store, places like footlocker or champs will always be there so not sure why people still complain about pricing. Will always continue to shop here and recommend others too! :)
