She honestly changed my life. I don't know where i would be if i didnt have her to talk to and help me work through my problems. She gave amazing advice and was professional and very understanding. Couldn't have had a better experience. Same with the front desk staff and phone operators, very kind and helpful always. Thank you AMH <3

Even if you have a voicemail from a clinician asking you to phone in and ask for them, the receptionist will simply tell you they are not available, or even more distressing: that they won't support your mental disorder at all. Feel free to leave your name and number, nobody will call you back.
C	Cat Piper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The intake lady called me at 11:20...my appt was supposed to be between 10-11...i couldn't do it that late because i was at work and had asked my employer to have between 10 and 11 off....she was unapologetic For being so late and even though she admitted there was no emergencies or anything she was annoyed that i couldn't do my appt.... and kept repeating the phrase "so you are refusing help". to which I repeatedly said no, I need to reschedule.she made me very uncomfortable and gave me a panic attack after because i need an appt but there is no way i can do it with her now...this is a mental health office, they need someone kind and understanding, not a rude bully...a couple days later I phoned back to reschedule and she said because I had refused help (I didnt), I needed a new referral from my dr. My doctors office was very annoyed at the Mental health people
S	Shenandoah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doesn't even deserve one star. I was supposed to have my first appointment, and they told me the wrong date, so I missed that. Then the next appointment my therapist couldn't make it, and didn't even bother to call to let me know. I guess this is what you have to put up with when you can't afford to pay for a therapist in private practice.
D	David Browne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The doctor told my girlfriend with BP1 and Schizoaffective disorder he was closing the file while she just experienced an episode he ignored and fell into deep depression afterwards. On 9 medications and well spoken I guess she is of no concern having been hospitalized 13 times. Coordinator would not approve moving to a different psychiatrist (one she has seen before). His biggest concern "you should come off ativan" after she said she thought she was bordering a manic episode. What exactly is the point of abbotsford mental health? Make excuses not to help you until you are on a greyhound bus..........................
