A month ago, I booked transport with Aaron Paramedical to take my wheelchair-bound father from his longterm care facility to an important health appointment. It took a couple of calls and an email to get a reply. Last week, I contacted them to confirm the appointment and get the time the driver would arrive for pick up. Again, it took a couple of attempts to get the office to confirm the booking – they didn't answer my question about arrival time.
This morning, the morning of the appointment, the driver didn't show up. Aaron Paramedical was unavailable at any of their phone numbers, and their voicemail was full. I sent text messages: no response. We had to cancel a long-awaited health care appointment which would have made a difference to my Dad's health and comfort.
Hey Aaron Paramedical: This is not an UBER service to a restaurant. People's health depends on you. My Dad will not get the health supports he needs this month because of you. Your lack of conscientiousness wasted my time and the time of the health care team at my Dad's longterm care facility (who assessed him, identified and coordinated the right care appointment and showed up to work early to make this happen), as well as the time of the healthcare team at his appointment (which had to be cancelled at the last minute).
Shape up guys. This service sucked.
