Ma copine et moi avons acheté une grande unité murale de style mid-century chez Antiquité Curiosité et nous sommes très satisfaits! Les gens de la boutique sont très accueillants et ils ont pris le temps de refaire une beauté à l’unité avant de nous la livrer. L’endroit est moins affiché sur le web que les autres boutiques de meubles MCM de la ville, mais il offre une sélection tout aussi excellente. Vous y trouverez certaines pièces rares de temps en temps (comme une chaise Eames authentique des années 60!) Un incontournable si vous êtes un fan du style.

Nous avons acheté un meuble pour notre télévision. Il est magnifique. Nous somme fan de cet endroit. Leur meubles sont vraiment beaux. Si je pouvais, j'achèterai tout chez eux :) Le responsable est vraiment très gentil. Nous avons fait beaucoup de magasins de meubles, pour meubler notre condo, et celui ci est de loin le meilleur. Pour la qualité de leurs meubles, prix et pour l'équipe vraiment à l'écoute et plus que sympa. Je recommande ce magasin à tout le monde. Merci encore!!

Service tout simplement impeccable. Les employés sont extrêmement attentionnés, gentils et drôles :) je trouve que le côté humain manque au niveau du service en magasin dans plusieurs commerces mais je peux vous assurer qu’ici, on est accueilli avec une amabilité et une attention qui fait toute la différence. Les prix sont justes et la variété est vraiment impressionnante si vous cherchez du mid-century.

Really good mid-century modern antique furniture with fair prices. They all look good quality as well. Sofas, tables, armchairs, shelves. This is a father (Denis) & son (Dominic) duo. They have amazing midcentury modern furniture, have been around for 40 years but focusing on midcentury pretty much exclusively the last 20 years. They have great stock, not everything is posted online (FB/Instagram) so your best bet is to give them a call if they’re not busy or pop into the store. I have been looking for 2 weeks for a new tv console, even considering making it myself since I could not find anything to my liking and especially, to my size (I wanted a big one, over 70inches long). There were some buffets they recommended me but I find those to be too tall for a TV. I went into the store and found a few I liked and asked if it could be modified. Dominic gave me really good advice to not simply cut the original legs in case I’d want to resell (as these antiques don’t lose much value) or reuse as a buffet one day. He took his time with me (nobody else was in the store luckily for me) and I felt ZERO pressure and he was very helpful. They don’t only sell the furniture, they fix them up & refinish so it looks pretty darn spankin new again (within reason). So instead he mentioned the entire thing would be refinished, perhaps stripped if needed, imperfections fixed, several layers of oil, and that he could put in new legs & color match as best they could too (4in. Or 5in.), and it would all be included in the price, oh and delivery is also included! Honestly, all that was a steal for me on top of the excellent service. The furniture total was close to what I was finding online but nothing as nice and authentic as the older stuff. I highly recommend this shop if you want midcentury modern, they have the entire first floor and other stock in the basement (you’d need to ask them) and I will be coming here again for sure if I am looking for other pieces. The time-line to finish the furniture varies. I was initially told 2 weeks. I got my own furniture legs to put on it, when I dropped it off Dominic told me it would be fast, 1 week. It ended up actually being 4 weeks to finish so just keep that in mind that the timeframe is rather quite flexible. I sold my piece this was replacing so I had no furniture there for 1 month.
