A Cut Above Meats

We first saw A Cut Above Meats at a home show. We were in the process of finalizing our home renovation, and figured we'd get ourselves set up when we were settled in. We contacted A Cut Above Meats in April, 2020, hoping that they would be able to accommodate us in the chaos. Al and his team were great! Really quick to respond, and helped us get set up and our first delivery as quickly as possible, which was amazing considering the circumstances. They were also great about accommodating us with our slightly smaller chest freezer. I would highly recommend going for their freezer deal if you don't already have one (we intend to upgrade when our current one kicks the bucket). The convenience of having a freezer full of meat is fantastic - especially this past year. I've always tried my hardest to get good quality meat, and I have to say that everything from A Cut Above Meats has exceeded expectations. I adore their salmon, (and bacon!) but everything is top notch. We plan to continue getting our meat from them. Highly recommended.

I stumbled across A Cut Above Meats online while looking for local and good quality meat options. After our first trial box we were so impressed with the flavour and the idea of buying from local farmers had us convinced! Al was super informative and readily available for any questions we had while placing our order for an entire year. We are 3 months in and we are loving the food so much! Great portion sizes and amazing quality. As busy first time parents, it's been so convenient having our freezer stocked and feels great knowing we are feeding our family local and ethically raised meats. Thank you Al and team!

I came across A Cut Above Meats through wishing for organic, high quality meats. With the pandemic and family health in mind, I was willing to go the extra mile, as from what I understand a large percentage of our gut health (70%+, something like that) makes up our immune system and we are what we eat. Exceptional service by the friendly delivery driver and same for the order allocation and always swift and concise communication with Al Marcovecchio. He was accommodating in consideration to the pandemic through electronic communication too. Over the phone he was just as professional and amiable. I was never pressured or harassed in any way. I was and remain extremely pleased, happy, and appreciative to all. Boxes were packed with care and transported same. All meat items were separately packaged. Some, like chicken wings, were wrapped multiple in one individual package, but other items, like steak and chicken breast and chicken thigh, pork, and ground meat, came individually packaged. Each box contained multiple sealed packages. Looked vacuumed sealed and the quality of these vacuum package materials were not cheaply made either to me. The packages were meant to protect and keep the contents well kept and fresh. It all comes frozen. My opinion is to order in winter or colder months if you are a first timer. That way you can separate safely outside and store in freezer chest or chests, depending on your order. All the best to everyone at A Cut Above Meats, including the farmers and their workers, wonderful service and products! 10/10 for my family. Their meats and the quality of them truly suit their name to a T. Yes, I would recommend a lot - an understatement!

This was our first order and it was fantastic. The ordering process was quick and easy and the delivery driver was very polite. The meat was superbly packaged and of top quality. The price was curated perfectly to fit my budget and Al was also very accommodating and easy to talk to. I will most definitely be returning.

Al was very easy to deal with throughout the initial process, the meat arrived well packed and absolutely delicious! The quality & taste of the meat has been amazing! The steaks and pork chops are so tender & juicy, I was shocked at how great the meat taste compared to the grocery store. Call Al, stop hesitating and just get the meat!

Dealing with this company is a pleasure. Working with Al on orders has been great. The products are top quality and are delivered by themselves (no third party delivery service) in a soundly frozen state. I like that the portions are individually vacuum sealed, which is suitable for meal planning. Purchasing meat boxes is great for stocking the freezer. I will continue to do business with this company going forward.

We have ordered practically everything on their menu so far, and we are very, very happy with the quality and taste! I love that I can order a few months worth of beautiful meat at once -- delivered within a reasonable time and price. All meats cook so tender and tasty! Ever since I started ordering fresh meat and fish from a cut above meats, my life has changed. It was such a challenge for me to find fresh organic chicken, wild caught sockeye fish, and grass fed beef. But, a cut above meats have really went above and beyond for me and has made purchasing my essential meats and fish easy and convenient. I have noticed huge differences in my gut health and I have never switched back to buying grocery store products because it just doesn't compare. Give it a try, and you will never go back to buying your usual produce! This has become a staple to my lifestyle, and Al has been such a wonderful person to deal with who kindly delivers my order in a box. Fresh, tasty, and healthy all in one! You can't go wrong!
