I had a meeting with the owner, very professional. Office's in this place are very clean.

Have not been paid for a loan I lent them, business has been unresponsive and has been served legal notice.

A-Con was contracted by our condo corporation to do balcony upgrades in 2018. Work delays happened immediately and got worse, often because workers didn’t show up. There were many days every week, where no workers were to be found on site. A-Con was clearly juggling other jobs at our expense. Most workers did not speak English; and the few supervisory staff who did speak English were rarely around. It certainly raised concerns about whether workers were properly trained in the skills required to do the job. While A-Con was working on another elevation, their sloppy work resulted in concrete grit and paint splatter flying onto other balconies. That was early in October. Our brand new patio furniture was covered in hardened grit and paint splatter. An A-Con ‘supervisor’ —who barely spoke English—came to see the damage. He denied it was because of their work. He said it must have come from elsewhere. It was so insulting and so disrespectful. Keep in mind, there were many, many complaints from other owners who also had damage to their balconies. Cold weather was coming but A-Con would not commit to cleaning the cement/paint damage. They told us to get multiple quotes and submit them—again so disrespectful. They did the damage and weren’t doing anything to fix it. And our condo corporation was virtually no help to condo owners either. We hired a cleaning company. They did a great job. We paid them. The challenge then was to get reimbursed by A-Con. The bill was only $113.00. Two months later, with no A-Con response nor money, I deducted the cleaning cost from our Maintenance Fees. That finally got some action. Four months after A-Con damaged our property, A-Con reimbursed the condo corporation. I’m retired on a fixed income. I certainly don’t appreciate having to help finance a large construction company. So disrespectful.

We were hired as a sub contractor providing glass and door service for this company back in December. Their client was pleased with our work.To date we have not been paid. Each time we worked with this company we have had issues collecting payment. Be careful when dealing with them.
