Went here April 2021 for new main bearings and headgasket and gave a generous $8000 budget, Diego said engine would have to come out and at that point it would be cheaper to 2JZ swap vs rebuilding the 7M. They sourced an engine, they left the car unlocked while sitting there and the interior got damaged from crackheads rummaging through it, then said the swap was too big of a job and it was getting transferred to the Kingsway location May 2021. Kingsway location was miserable about getting stuck with the swap and didn't finish it as of September 2021 due to it not being a direct swap and clearly said "yeah Diego is dumb, he told us it's a straight swap and it isn't" and left me with finding someone to do custom motor mounts etc. I ended up bailing on 7eighty altogether and towed my car to a proper shop that finished the swap. The "cheaper engine swap option" these guys pushed me to do instead of a basic bottom end rebuild cost me $20,000 said and done. The Kingsway location was also extremely unprofessional including leaving my car in the alley with the window down for 2 weeks exposed to the rain/having homeless people go through it again and putting a massive dent in my rear panel. Avoid these guys

Had a few issues with my car repaired here about a month ago, unfortunately a small coolant leak was missed and I had to go back, but they gave me generous discounts throughout the entire process and really helped me out

Amazing customer service! Their investment in technology, ensures you have a comprehensive idea of what's going on with your vehicle. They stay connected to update you (without being pushy). Clear, comprehensive, cost-effective, cordial, and connected! Great!

Lack of attention to detail and professionalism. Used last year for a seasonal tire swap, and they just deposited the dirty removed tires onto my cloth back seats, staining them. Cool. Every other shop returns the swapped out tires in big bags so they don't dirty your vehicle. Between Fountain Tire, Kal Tire, and OK Tire, this shop didn't seem to consider customer safety as much; they were the one place I've visited that didn't offer or recommend a free, quick drop-in torque after traveling 100 km post tire swap. Everyone else left a reminder card in your vehicle to do so.

Went here when I was in a pinch one day to get my car back on the road after I was halfway through changing my upper control arms and was unable to get the nut off on the ball joint. I slowly drove it to them with a loose control arm and they swapped it out the next morning by 2:00, with the part I gave them. I also had a new sway bar link, and they threw in on for me for free as well. Fast forward a week later, I decided I'd have them do the other side as well, since it was much cheaper than spending an entire weekend without my car and working on the thing outside myself. I brought it in on Thursday morning at 8am (day before Easter weekend) and dropped my keys in the slot and went about my day. A bolt had seized where they were taking the shock out (I had asked them to, again they didn't charge extra to put a new shock in for me) and they said it had to stay over the long weekend to order a new one since it bent upon removal. I have just gotten a call with some bad news an hour prior, and was needing to make a trip to another city in the car. Even though I was frustrated and upset for personal reasons, they were very professional and courteous, and still on the phone with me well after they had closed explaining the situation and having mechanics still putting in time over the Easter weekend, without charging me extra just so that I can have it ready and on the road as soon as humanly possible. Huge shutout to all the staff there, this is the first time I've ever taken a vehicle to a mechanic in my life (always done stuff myself) but now realize when you have a trusted, skilled, and very reasonably priced mechanic down the street, in most cases it's a no-brainer.

TERRIBLE WORK. Had them do my front wheel bearing. It was not a complete assembly so they had to press out the old bearing and press in the new bearing. They bought the parts and put it in. They let me know when I picked up the car that the ABS sensors were broken off the clips and hanging down so I agreed to new ones. I took my car to my brothers shop a week later to change to winter tires and the ABS lines were all hanging loose and twisted and I was NOT impressed. Brought it back to them and they didn't think it was a big deal. I walked into the shop and made them take off the tire and showed them if I turn the wheel the lines hit the tire. After 10000kms on the wheel bearing I had to take it apart and you can't even turn the wheel hub which you should be able to spin it freely without a sound. Its super stiff, all rusted and two different types of grease and a lot of grease. I do back yard mechanics and have done wheel bearings and I can guarantee you they never changed that wheel bearing. The only reason I got them to do the wheel bearing is cause I don't have a press to do the bearings. I will never go to them again and I highly DO NOT recommend them to anyone ever. Very sloppy work and I was not impressed at all with lack of attention to detail and customer service.
