But I just went to 2 of them to get lunch meat for my kids lunch and both stores had their doors locked 15 mines to close. Meaning you could leave if you are already in the store but they won't let you in even if you ask and explain you only one thing. Guess my kids eating crackers for lunch. Lol Don't bother driving out if it's 20 mins to close . I live 8 houses down and got there with plenty of time to get my one item and leave with time to spare before actual closing time. Stores in the valley care more about getting out the door at 9 then serving their customers till 9 and to me it sort of defeats the purpose of being open till 9. Close at 830 then?? What's the problem?

I went in for the free covid tests (along with some other errands) and saw two people without masks. I asked if masks were still mandatory and the cashier told me, verbatim, "they're required, but we're told not to enforce it." What's the point of having rules if you're going to let people flagrantly break them? And they knew they were breaking the rules, because they laughed when I made obvious attempts to avoid crossing paths with them. Until the store starts to actually enforce their own health safety rules, I won't be returning. I haven't avoided getting covid for two years just to let spineless management get me infected.
D	Doogi Fudpucker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst food basics in Sudbury. The staff at this store are definitely small -minded. The manager today tried to tell me I was banned from shopping at this store but couldn't provide me with any documentation thereof. I guess Food Basics will hire anyone who has a heart beat to manage nowadays. Besides, it's quite dirty in the store. If you can shop somewhere else I would highly recommend it
