S	Sean Stephenson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the 112 seems to be on a down hill slope. This has been one of my favourite restaurants in Canada for many years but have noticed it slipping over the past few to its lowest point this past week. Although the food was still quite good the service was atrocious, even with a fairly empty restaurant things were slow and felt like we were inconveniencing the server with each ask. Their dress code has lapsed to yoga pants and tshirts which is unfortunate for a place of this caliber and upon running out of mashed potatoes (not sure how that is possible) we were told we would be charged an additional $12 for truffle fries so were stuck with roast potatoes, for $150/person I would expect a lot more. Hopefully next time things are back to their former glory.

We came back, and apparently it was no longer available, when we asked why we were told: "oh someone called you" That didn't happen, we had our phones on us all day and they never rang, so firstly lying to a customer's face, secondly zero apologies, and I mean nothing, no acknowledgement of a mistake or anything in any way to resemble customer service. Finally to top it all off we were witness to the worst attitude of anyone I have ever met in the service industry (I would assume a manager, tattooed with a stretchy ear ring). This guy was the icing on the cake, you should seriously consider not letting him talk to customers, his attitude and demeanor was nothing short of toxic. It also seems that the customary response to negative reviews is: "Oh we will try better next time" How about at least try the first time?
M	Midori F. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was actually super excited to leave a 5-star review because when we were there last time (October, I think), the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the drinks, everything was just top-notch. We were looking forward to being pampered again. This time we were disappointed. First, the biggest issues was that it was so very loud. There were a few very loud groups who were quite drunk and being very loud. My spouse and I couldn't hear each other unless we raised our voices to an uncomfortable level. We felt like we were in a rowdy bar rather than at a nice restaurant. If we wanted to go to a bar or a club, we wouldn't have come here, you know? I think the restaurant area was used as a lounge when they actually have a separate space for lounge. The service was okay and food was okay and maybe we would have felt differently about the whole experience if we didn't feel like we just wanted to get out of there to we would actually have a conversation without shouting at each other. Their drinks were quite lovely though.
R	Ramon Gibbs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, I rarely expect a restaurant in a hotel to be something special. But this place was really really good. Great service, nice atmosphere and amazing food. I highly recommend the Alberta beef choices. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had a great sauce and sides to pair with. Can't wait to go back!
R	Rhonda B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a birthday reservation for 2 tables close together a full month in advance. The day before we phoned to Re-confirm that we would be seated close together.... We arrived for our reservation and were informed that our tables would be across the restaurant from each other. We spoke to a manager and they said there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. Not even so much as an apology. We were forced at the last minute to find another restaurant that could accommodate our group.

The servers really know how to take care of you, stop at the table the right amount of times/intervals, and have good knowledge of the menu and drinks. Our server, Tyese, was also very pleasant and super enjoyable to talk to! All the food was great too, and it was cooked and presented very well! My only real "complaint" would be that if you're going to have French Onion Soup on the menu, then melt the cheese over the sides of the bowl...like it should be.
J	Josh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My salad was quite large and delicious. My significant other said those were the best oysters she's ever had. The filet was pretty good and the side mashed potatoes had solid flavor. The dessert was creme brule which they also nailed. We were quite happy with the wine too. The waitress recommended 1775 and it matched the flavor and quality of the rest of the dinner. I would definitely recommend.
E	Elle Ash on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: so good we came back two days later. Wow! What a treat. Had a the rack of lamb. Cooked perfectly. The sauce that came with…. Omg! Veggies and delicious mashed potatoes. Had the starter Caesar salad. Almost deconstructed. Delicious! Had some live piano.
