The food was creative and well executed, but what didn't work for me was the house smoking (wound up in all my dishes) and the reuse of ingredients across dishes (for example, chickpeas). Pricey, as was to be expected.

We had the smoked peach bourbon sours to sip- had to order a second round they were so good! Then to start we shared the halibut cheeks (see photo), followed by the BC sturgeon entree, and indulged in the scrumptious salted caramel brownie to finish off! A 10/10 experience, we certainly recommend that you dine here when in Revelstoke.

The menu is small but thoughtfully composed. We had the chicken and the celeriac. Both dishes were interesting, extremely flavorful, and well balanced. Cocktails were likewise excellent, as was the service. The dessert menu could use more variety, but the dessert we had was well prepared. You'd pay substantially more for a lesser experience at many other fine dining restaurants.

Urban city dwellers will be well taken care of with the attentive staff, unique drinks, and high quality food. The menu had great pairings of modern and well presented, yet unpretentious plates. Do yourself a favour and book a reservation at Quartermaster when in Revelstoke if you’re looking for an elevated dinner, date night, or special occasion meal.

The space is cozy and warm, and the staff friendly. The menus was excellently curated, and all in season. The root vegetable ceased salad was phenomenal, and the sturgeon and duck dishes blew us away. We will definitely be back.
