It was particularly helpful in navigating through the challenges related to the pandemic. I had met a few other contractors about the repairs but I felt most comfortable with Jon. Due to the complex process involving multiple insurance companies, I was unable to hire Jon for the repairs but I will reach out to him in the future for any repair/renovation work.

They brought and executed ideas that we never would have considered (e.g. design of the basement window casings(?) to allow more light in, the basement fireplace mantle, the fuse panel cover,etc.). They were also very flexible and professional and great to work with. I'd definitely recommend 11 North to anyone looking for beautiful, high quality work.

They tackled our project that had its share of unique building and planning challenges with professionalism, great work ethic and craftsmanship! We now have a large second story deck that our family and friends can enjoy and that we receive compliments for all the time! If not for a couple of instances of miscommunication, we would have given 5 stars otherwise we highly recommend Jon and his team.

We asked Jon for a quote to build and install a backyard deck + stairs and we immediately wanted to go with his company. From day one, Jon was always so quick to respond and patient with all of our questions and concerns, he came to visit our home to discuss thoroughly and give us his expert opinions. When it came time to the work itself, Jon did the footing for the stairs, which was really difficult and labour intensive with the amount of debris our previous owners had left underneath all that dirt. He dug through triumphantly and with no complaint - despite the heat wave. Claudia and Cam were also amazing. I dealt more with Claudia and she was very professional, friendly, and so hardworking. They worked long hours and were very respectful. Their craftsmanship is beautiful, and we are so so happy with our new deck + stairs! Thank you guys for being so quick to book us in and help us with our needs and wants. We will definitely want to work with 11 North Construction again!
C	Canice Leung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jon and his crew built us an insulated, heated outbuilding (essentially a tiny home) in our backyard to use as a gym, workspace and expanded living area. During the uncertainty of COVID, he and his team were mindful of safety protocols and communicative of delays in supplies. They were responsive, courteous and always on site when they promised to be. Jon took the time to talk through construction and design decisions, and explain the pros and cons. The end product was modern, well-considered and refined specifically for the intended purpose, for all the things you can see and those you can't: a totally flush floor for the weightlifting platform; reinforced studs and power outlets for wall-mounted equipment, TV and speakers; a reinforced foundation to prevent damage from dropped weights; and beautiful design elements like the clear cedar plank ceilings that extend from inside the building to the soffits outside. The whole team was enthusiastic about making sure the end product worked and looked great, and all these little details show it.
