Really enjoyed this museum! Three levels of displays, artifacts and information plus gift shop is a description that does not give this location enough credit. Prepare to spend at least an hour or two exploring thousand islands history & people - and set aside some time to pick out a souvenir or gift on the way out! This is a donation run museum and sometimes visitors aren't sure what to donate so I'd recommend $5-10 per person and at least $20 for a family because it's really worth it.

Cute spot - interesting learning experience (self-guided), entrance by donation, small space. Great if you have an hour to kill around the area. Cute merch !

What a warm and friendly welcome from the staff! It’s a small area but covers a lot of ground. The museum has no entrance fee but relies on donations from its patrons. There’s a gift shop as well that features a lot of locally-made items. The model ships are extraordinary! A lot of history to take in all at once; it’s nice to feel a part of something β€œbig”.

An interesting and entertaining small museum right next to the docks. We’ve enjoyed our time here. They also have temporary exhibition on a ground level, which we hadn’t have time to see. A small gift shop also available. Admission by donation. Very welcoming staff!
