Zucco Demolition

Stay away from any company who orders services and refuses payment. Customer ordered Vacuum trucks on a job site and denied payment, also leaving us a negative review. Awaiting this review to be removed and I will remove mine. However stay away from this company if your a sub contractor that wants to get paid.

Zetta Construction got the bid to do the demolition of our home that exploded, then caught on fire in december 2012. I just wanted to say thank you for providing us with such a great track hoe/ excavator operator and support labourers.

Zetta did a pretty good job on the excavation and foundation at my place. Victor even helped me on get a better quote from suppliers to other services. The workers are fast and nice guys. Thanks!

Zetta and their crew did an amazing job on our yard. We had a ton of rocks, an old cement pathway, a rusty fire-pit and vegetation all over. There was also an ugly old chain-link fence running across the yard. Zetta came in while we were on vacation, cleared the whole lot and leveled it out. As they worked, they found more layers of crap to deal with. They did not try to gouge us or re-negotiate the contract, they worked through it. They also buried a pole in the back for us and cemented it in nicely. When we came back from vacation, they came back and wet-sawed the edge of the old concrete foundation for us giving us a nice clean entry into the yard. Everything happened so quick and tidy, it was like they hadn't even been there. I highly recommend these guys. If we ever have more similar work to do, we will hire them back.

Zetta did a good job on my current project! They gutted the entire house from top to bottom, removed nails on stud and removed all garbage. I was impressed with the time it took for them to complete the work. I must add that we had more rubbish to throw out than what they quoted for because we decided not to save any part on the interior, and all I had to pay as extra was the cost for the extra bins which is very reasonable to me.

Zetta completed the underpinning under the addition on my home. The existing main floor had a 325 sq ft addition added to it with a 3 foot crawl space. The existing basement has 7'6 ceilings and we were looking to add light and head room- 1 eight inch step. I began my online research and found 4 companies that would do work in Whitby. Zetta fortunately had several great reviews on Homestars which gave me some piece of mind. I contacted all 4 companies and had them all out to review the work. Each company had ideas for the project. The major difference with Victor was he listened to the fact I didn't want to lose space due to benching and that I wanted one company to own the project. Some others would do underpinning leaving water proofing, beams, and window wells for to me to complete with other contractors. I received all prices and Zeta was very competitive with an inclusive solution. I then checked 3 references to ensure I was making the right decision. Zetta 's crew was knowledgeable and polite, Raf and Brendan had to underpin from the outside and then jack hammer the existing slab and soil to dig out 5 feet of materials. This was no small task via conveyor. They even managed several laughs along the way- ask Raf about his Brazilian buddies...Throughout the project Raf and Victor kept me updated on progress, they kept the site clean, executed the project finishing on schedule and within the planned budget. The Zetta crew clearly take pride in what they do showing me every step of the way (I work from home). They made sure I was happy with the progress and work completed. I would highly recommend Zetta for your underpinning project and am open to anyone contacting me. I would add, it is worth understanding the entire scope of the project to ensure you have budgeted for all aspects. Zetta can help you with that or at least point you in the right direction.

When I was planning a major renovation, the one place I knew not to skimp was on the foundation - that's the place where you can't afford any mistakes. I'm so glad that my contractor knew to call Zetta to do the job. After meeting with Victor , it was clear that the job was going to be done right leaving me free of any concerns. They told me the job would take approximately 4 weeks and they finished in three weeks, in which helped us through out the remaining of renovation. I definitely recommend this business to anyone.
