★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. Nobody ever greets me or offers to help me. I usually don’t even get talked to when I’m checking out, they just tell me the total and ask if I want a receipt. I’d love to support a local buisness, but I’d rather be treated nicely. They are the only place in town that sells our puppies food, as soon as he’s on adult food I won’t be back.

Zoofood does not care to even pretend to keep their customers safe during this pandemic.
I have been shopping for my pets here for years, and I am very upset.
I was uncomfortable when:
They took their mask mandate signage down months ago despite the PHO.
I was anxious when:
I noticed they didn't say anything to other customers not wearing masks or not wearing them correctly.
Yesterday was the last straw for me:
I walked in after work and saw the ladies at the front unmasked. I stopped walking and asked if they are doing masks at all anymore, and the one woman (who I believe is the owner) looked at me with disgust and said no.
The customer service had always been wonderful, and they have a good selection of products, but that does not make up for putting me and my family at risk of contracting a highly transmissible disease that we are currently experiencing a pandemic with. It does not matter what their stance is on the pandemics existence, if they cannot even pretend to care, they are not worth my business.
