Very pricey, I would say the sashimi is worth it but not the rolls. The side dishes are also a hit or miss, overall not bad, pretty fresh.

Great sashimi spot downtown, wide range of selection of fish, though a little pricy. Got your must have Japanese condiments as well

Ridiculously amazing sushi. Super fresh, premium quality, and also great value for money vs other high end Japanese options in Toronto. Absolutely recommend the Premium Sushi ( Tuna & Uni) & Seafood Bowls.

I’m surprised that this cute little Japanese shop doesn’t have more reviews. I had their salmon and botan ebi sashimi. Great value for money. They can prepare the sashimi for you if you get the ones from the refrigerator, which is a lot cheaper than ordering off the restaurant menu.

Clean place, friendly helpful staff selling everything japanese from snacks, hard to find dried goods and rare sushi/sashimi grade fish that they will prepare for you.

Finally tried eating in and it was a fantastic experience. Been meaning to even just get take out but my stars just never aligned. Nonetheless - meal was great; fishies were yummy, service very attentive and accommodating, prices were ok for the quality, which was pretty up there.

I passed by this place during their renos but never walked in and bought anything. Their sashimi grade fish, uni and Japanese food (snacks, condiment, etc.) are all charged at a premium. Most of their products are imported from Japan and β€œMade in Japan” You can order via UberEats and pick up from there if you want to save time. I walked in in-person and noticed they were busy with online orders so I started to look at the menu on the UberEats app. I saw the Ikura Uni don had a deal at $59.20. The cashier finally walked towards me after 5-6 minutes of me waiting and I asked her if there’s the Ikura Uni don, she said no and told me to try the Hokkaido don instead which was $75+tax. I showed her the menu on UberEats and asked β€œreally? You don’t have this? Why is it available to order on Uber then?” She then told me β€œOh yeah we have it”. I didn’t appreciate the dishonesty and the fact that she was trying to get me to purchase something even more expensive. The Ikura Uni don was really fresh, for $66 with tax included, I ate my money’s worth but this is definitely not an item you would want to order once a week as the prices are steep.

I walked by this place and couldn't help it. I love fish markets and this place sells legit fish from Japan. The employees are from Japan (i believe) and were really friendly. I ordered the regular nigiri set and the fish quality was the best I've had so far in Toronto. Definitely would come back here on the regular.
