★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small diner-type place. Parked on the street next to condos. Menu is small but for good reason: Tteokbokki is their specialty.
Portions are to be shared and are pretty large. We were there at 8pm on a Saturday and they were out of their chicken main and dumplings appetizers.
Spice level is from 0-3. Two of us got level 1 and the rest of is got level 3. 3 is quite spicy but I have a high tolerance; those with level 1 were sweating!
Really enjoyed this place. It was full of Koreans and we went here specially because one of our party is from Korea and she recommended it.

The one person portion is actually decent sized and we’ve been here many times in the past when craving this specific Korean taste
Just a warning, 2/3 spicy is VERY spicy and isn’t ‘medium’ but ‘hot’ or even ‘very hot’
I don’t dare imagine 3/3. Obviously different people different spicy levels but just a warning based on comparisons to other places. Reminder to self to get 1/3 next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the rice cake with spicy level 2. The portion is perfect for one person. It is way too spicy for me. If you are a person who can’t take any spicy definitely go with mild or level 1. The rice balls tasted really good if you dip it in the sauce. Love the seaweed on top. I like the chewy rice cake and the sweet cheese on top. The sausages and fish cakes tasted good as well. Will order this again.

but totally the food, environment and customer service was ok
It worth to give a try for one time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered Toboki for 2-3 person. With spicy level 3. First time to try. Favor not bad and very spicy. In fact only enough for two person. Little overpriced with combination of rice cake, small sausage and little fish meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to like it, but the most recent purchase is not so satisfactory. I usually ordered spicy level 2 and I really enjoyed it. But somehow this time is super spicy… I don’t know whether the spicy level change in several months. Also the portion is smaller. Although I added sausage and cheese, this order costs $37 and pretty expensive.
