The people there are very enthusiastic and caring, I had a really good experience in their 3 week program that pays you to find employment! I also enjoyed and learned from each and every seminar they presented. If you are considering coming here for some assistance, I would highly recommend it. Once you get to know everybody it starts to feel less like counselors and more like a family. I hope you make the right choice, and good luck!

Emma helped me work through kinks in my resume and got me involved in the Job Central Program. Lisa was the most amazing facilitator, she made things fun and interesting, answered questions, researched what answers she didn't have and was all around wonderful. YES has been incredibly instrumental in me finding a job, and have been beyond supportive. Everyone should know about YES!!!
N	Natsume on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to the pandemic, I participated in Job Central's YES program for youth struggling to find work via ZOOM Meetings, online. Before this program, I barely had any interviews or responses back from employers. I was feeling hopeless. However, once I started this program everything slowly came together. I rebuilt my resume and cover letter with the help of the program advisors, got more job interviews than I could physically manage, and ended up landing the most important thing: A job where I feel comfortable and I'm paid well. I've had a few shifts now and I feel it's safe to say that I will be there for a while now. Very happy and grateful to everything I learned in this program and to everyone who helped me. I would strongly recommend this if you're also struggling to find work on your own.

Gives you a general idea on all things job searching wise and beyond that with skills that are up to date. The opportunity has no downside it all depends on you to follow up on it.

They PAY you to learn, which is amazing!! The job developers and counsellors are so kind, patient and understanding. It was the first time in my life where I worked with men who respected me and appreciated my contributions. That felt amazing to be recognized and accepted. They help you every step of the way and I can't say enough good things about this org. Thanks especially to Derek Yearwood and Zafar Khan, whom I worked with more closely everyday for three weeks.
