You are given different assessments to complete that allow you to learn more about strengths and weaknesses you obtain and what career is best suited for you. I really enjoyed attending this and meeting new people!

On my first day, I was very welcomed by the staff and the students. We made great connections introducing ourselves, and I was a bit nervous; however, by the end of ice breaker activity, I felt more relax and ready to go. Also, YERP had given the opportunity to express my feelings with others in a small group, I can get the help I need from staffs and colleagues. Most exciting thing at YERP program according to my opinion I got free food. One of the staff in the program made us an amazing cake, and it was delicious I took some home with me. Lastly, YERP had helped on the job research according to my skills, strengths, and weaknesses, resume building and cover letter. If you are a graduated either college, university or high school, YERP is a great place to start and you get paid while you are learning. How exciting is that!

The combination of employment search and personality assessments made it both intriguing and fun. The team behind the program is also out of this world. Deb is a fantastic teacher and is very dedicated to helping those around her. Amber and Nicole are both just as dedicated and it is very clear that the staff care for those in the program and the success of their participants. Thank you so much for everything that you have all done for me, I would encourage anyone thinking about taking this program to just do it.

Deb, Nichole, Amber and Dusha are a group of very dedicated coordinators who are very invested in helping you find a job placement. They pay you throughout the first 9 weeks and also provide a wage reimbursement to your employer which will helps you get an edge over other candidates when applying to jobs. They also provide continuous guidance and support to help you find the right job. Strongly recommend this program.

During my time in the program I was able to improve my cover letter, resume, interview skills, network skills, and most importantly my confidence) At the end of the program I was able to find a placement somewhere I fit in well! They are here to help you during and after the program is complete, and they are willing to listen and work with you and your schedule. The opportunity is one of a kind and you don't end up in a call centre like other employment programs, this one actually takes your education into account and uses it to help you find a job in your field. The staff are so wonderful, and you learn SO MUCH about yourself in the 9 weeks. I would recommend everyone apply because it is so helpful for your career.
